I defend Babylon A.D. for only one reason...

Even Kassovitz (the Director) told people not to go see it. Him and his co-writer spent years on writing the scrennplay and trying to bring their vision to the big screen. The studio chopped it to hell and left the best parts of the film on the editing room floor to get a PG-13 rating and keep it under 90 minutes. Here's what it should have been: Rated R at 161 min (original uncut version).

He thought he was doing the book justice, but the studio wouldn't let him put out the movie he wanted to.

When the Director & co-writer have the balls to say "don't go see this"...at the risk of their careers, I believe them.

Who knows, I hope they'll fix in for Blu-ray and let the Director cut truely be shown. I really respect Kassovitz, I would like the chance to see his vision as it was intended.

Thought i should bump up this thread again,because i just saw 2 VERY bad movies,both of them goes straight in to my worst 10 list.

This is the worst crap ive ever seen,poor acting,poor effects.Pure garbage,even below garbage if that is possible.

Well i assume most of you have seen this one,Clooney for one thing was a bad choice for Bruce Wayne.This movie seems like a desperate try and threw in a bunch of crap just to cover the last hour of the movie.

B&R is bad, but not the worst.

I'd put Lost Boys 2 up there. The movie shouldn't has been baged a sequel. Other than the Frog, has nothing from the first classic flick.

to be fair, B&R wasn't entirely the director's fault. that movie was ruined by WB pushing the production to do nothing but sell toys -- movie be damned.

as for WotW 2 -- uh, i don't know what you were expecting. it was a direct-to-video sequel. those are awful by nature.

neither qualify in the "worst movie ever" category. they're just unfortunately bad.

it wasn't good. but it isn't any worse than any other dtv sequel i've seen. just don't rent anything that's a sequel and didn't come out in theaters and you should do ok.
otherwise, you're just asking for it and then we gotta hear about it on here.
trust me. there are much much worse movies out there.

actually, i don't really get what this thread is about.
come to think of it, this was just some dopey kid whining about Legend because it wasn't like those Pokemon movies he grew up watching, or something.
so, i think this is more like the "make fun of me for hating Legend" thread.


anyway, like i said. stay away from video sequels. they're stupid.
