dont worry brother, Hillary will save us all :grouphug

I doubt that, but I don't have faith that Trump will either. Unfortunately, I think it will get worse with Trump as POTUS. I've been desperately hoping for a miracle third party candidate, but the system isn't set up for third parties to have a snowball's chance in hell so we're just ****ed.

Sad isn't it? We need more independents in office.

What I really hate is that every Presidential election people complain about how ****ed up the voting system is but nothing changes. The attention span of this country used to be about 3 months. Now it's dropped to a few weeks--unless a shiny new celebrity scandal comes sooner. Then it can be a matter of days. The country can go to hell as long as everyone gets their Kardashian selfie fix and knows who Taylor Swift is ****ing.

We should riot! :cuss

Oklahoma has some very pretty areas, but there's so much that's ****ed up here. It's hard for me to say much positive about it because I don't agree with the religion or politics of the majority of people who live here. If my family hadn't needed me I never would have moved back. I guess one positive note is that there is a ton of great BBQ joints all over the place. :drool

Having lived in other states, an tell you Oklahoma is not unique. It's not a center for poor religion practices or dumb people. It has its share just like the rest of the states. People in OK seem nicer to me than say Massachusetts in general. Oklahoma has its beautiful places and rough places. It's cheap to live here but has its problems

Ted Cruz would have been fine, but people are chicken****s.

True, it's probably not the worst state to live in. I've lived in several cities in OK, TX, NV, and NY, and the only place I didn't like more than where I am now was Waco, Texas. People will find problems with any place they live, and I didn't mind OK so much when I was younger. However, the older I've gotten, the more OK policies/religious groups and I have butted heads. I often feel more embarrassed to say I live in OK than proud. One great thing about the state is that it is dirt cheap to live here compared to every other state I've been. If you have a decent job you can live very well.

I hate the fact that Obama is already trying to make political capital from the events in Dallas to try and justify a gun grab.

Even if he didn't go as far as pushing for gun controls, he's blaming the deaths (again) on institutionalized racism. Someone appointed him jury, I guess. All well and good. I'm sure he'll be perfectly judicious, even without anything resembling evidence.

He's so ****ing predictable. Stop ****ing painting Blacks as victims already. You want to save Black lives? You only need to go to your hometown. The whole culture is devoted from a young age with the "**** the police" mentality. Don't commit crime, you won't have to deal with them, and if you do anyway... just comply.

America should just skip this election and stay single for awhile.

If the cops are guilty (I wouldn't trust a New Orleans cop with my spare change) this would make a better case for disarming them than it would anyone else. That would be clever if they figured out how to turn cops executing troublemakers into a 2nd Amendment issue.

It's really a very difficult situation to really weed out "bad cops." I'd like to think there should be a thinner line for them to lose their jobs. But what that line would be is unclear. Body cameras aren't available to every department. But from what I've read, they've brought complaints down on Police. But in the same hand, Cops are afraid to even do their jobs because even if they're completely justified in protecting themselves, there's those among us that are always immediately calling them a racist murderer.

Sure isn't a job I'd like to have.

As for the Arlon Sterling shooting, at the moment I'm siding on the Cops with that one until testimony and evidence comes out. The traffic stop is definitely questionable, but I'm reserving judgment until I know what happened prior to the video starting.

Facebook feeds. One day its all gun nuts, then hating Obama, then Trump, then Hillary, then Kevin Durant, then police shootings, then police killings.

I think it would be a lot better if people just posted nude chicks.
