Damn I agree with that....4.99 for a card....

Around here it's a thing to display cards that you get from others. I used to send out cards, but not anymore. I do get some from others. I prefer getting homemade ones.

I always loved getting cards from boyfriends for different things. Those are keepsakes.

Homemade cards are awesome. I make a card for my friends and family each year, but it's digital.

What I hate today: feeling like some sort of genius for putting together a bbq that's designed to be easy to assemble.

Took me 3 hours. I don't know if that scotch I had in the morning helped or hindered.

Everything takes me 20 times longer to put together than it's suppose to. Usually it's because I'm too picky about it.

I used to draw cards for people but ive got lazy :lol.

I hate taking medication. Some of my tablets are so big they stick in my throat and I hate that.

How do you address the accusation that you're sexually attracted to babies? Do you take it seriously? Do you argue with it? Do you defend yourself?

Or do you tell them to get ****ed?

I've never had anyone accuse me of being sexually attracted to babies, but I know what the options are if it ever happens.

1. Ignore it. Not only that, but put the person that said it on my ignore list.
2. Report it. Adoptedscot is the only mod on this board that consistently enforces the CoC in a fair manner. I'm sure she has days that she'd like to hit "Select All" on her ban hammer, but she somehow finds a way to moderate according to the rules instead of her emotions. She'll take care of it if there is an offense.
3. Go along with the joke, but turn it around in a funny and witty way to include the person(s) that said it.
4. Take it as a personal insult and flip out.

Now, I'd choose a combination of 1-3, but you and I are obviously very different. I don't have an fragile ego so I can let things go. I use the system that's in place instead of openly disparaging it. I don't think ignoring a post or person on this board is weak or cowardly. I'm glad there's a way to do it so I don't have to read a lot of nonsense from people I don't like. You've been on my ignore list for a couple years now, and it's been great not reading your posts. I'd be even happier if I couldn't read your posts when someone quotes you, but the system isn't able to do that for some reason.

You can respond to posts here however you wish. However, you understand there are consequences for breaking the rules by insulting or threatening a person on the board so you have to decide if attacking someone here is worth permanently losing access to the forum. It doesn't matter to me what you say or do here. You'll either decide to play by the rules and stay on my ignore list, or you'll break them and get banned. Both of those scenarios are a win for me, so do what you want.

No, because this is the Sandbox.

Develop a thicker skin, take it for the joke it clearly is, and engage in some banter without feeling the need to threaten physical violence or generally act like a pathetic internet tough guy.

I bust crows balls pretty much everyday for the last few years with jokes... but he either ignores it or just laughs it off. It's easier to just laugh, say that it was clever... or ignore it.
