Finding scratches on my brand new DVDs purchased from Amazon. Has anyone else encountered this issue? The DVDs are part of a television box set.

Were they sealed?
What are the reviews of the seller?

Sometimes dvds can come with small scratches but sometimes sellers repackage dvds and seal them again.
It depends how bad the scratches are

I know i bought dexter season 8 directly from target and they came sealed but scratched and the box was bended. I got a replacement but the second set came with little scratches so i just left it

The set was sold by amazon.ca and not from a marketplace seller. It looked factory sealed yet several of the DVDs are scratched. :/

Did your Dexter DVDs play properly despite the scratches? I'd check my DVDs but, because they're from a television series, it'd take too long to get through them all. I guess I should just exchange them.

I still prefer to have a physical copy in case the internet goes out. You never know.

:lecture I was without both internet **** and digitally stored **** for about a week when my laptop died recently. Had to break out the old magazine stash.....wait...what were you guys talking about?...

what tv show is it, and how many are scratched?

They way i tested my dexter dvds were playing them but in fast forward (not too fast, just the first fast forward option, I dont know what speed is that, just the first click) and they didn't stop or skip or anything so I decided to not bother anymore. It seemed like no matter what the Target dexter sets were gonna have some damages.

But if you can change it without a problem I think you should, better safe than sorry. I mean, I did change it once because the first box was really messed up.
Just be aware that the second set Might come with a little bit of scratches

It's Buffy the Vampire Slayer and spanning all seven seasons, four, maybe five of the discs contain scratches.

I think I'll request an exchange as I'm in no mood to test all of the discs. I fully expect the replacement set to contain scratches as well, but I'd might as well try for something better.

Thanks for your help, man.
