Yeah, I'm rather gutted by Dolores O'Riordan's sad and way too young passing. The world feels a little less special to me today. :(

Play Arts Kai's prices. Go **** yourself for $150 a pop. They priced me right out of their lines. There's third party companies out there doing 1/6 for cheaper.

Their lines are completely out of whack with scale, so the deeper you go with collecting you're eventually going to have midgets next to the newer releases.

Yeah a lot of their lines are cluster **** designs, but they did a great job on their Final Fantasy VII lines, they're pretty true to what you'd expect and aren't over-designed schlock. And I really hate I just can't stay with it since I'm not dropping $150 a nut on them anymore.

These things were about $40 when they started the Kai line, and now it's $150.

That’s insane. Never got into FF but some of the figures they had for stuff I did like was just way over designed.

I can’t believe they hit the 150$ mark.

That I got slapped with some import taxes for my Black Adam and Red Son :cuss

First time this has happened to me, ****ing thieves.

I had heard a theory that anything under $300 is exempt from import taxes, seems it's true.

i hate that i just cant get into alien isolation no matter how many times i try. i give it time and go back to it but it just doesnt make me happy. it pisses me of because i bought it on release and i know a lot of people loved it and its aliens for christ sakes, but it feels like im just hiding all the time and i wish the pace was faster. i also really dont understand it i think, what are all the controls on the walls for?

The pace picks up a little when you learn running like hell is a more viable strategy than standing your ground against the synthetics if they spot you. The alien is a different story, you're going to have to be patient to avoid run-ins with that bastard, but the game goes out of its way to telegraph when it's nearby - you can hear it behind the walls in the vent systems and see drool falling from ceiling vents if it's nearby, at which point you should quietly double back and hide in a locker or something for a few minutes until it's moved on to another stretch of vent.

If you're talking about those circuit boxes with the amber displays inside them, they're for rerouting electrical systems. You can use them to do things like deactivate all the security cameras in an area so you can sneak by without raising an alarm, turn floodlights on and off, purge the ventilation systems giving you some temporary smoke cover, unlock doors, etc.

Sorry you had to discover it the hard way.
My country is about to make it 200 euro this year, and lower it to 20 euro in two yers. 2018 is pretty much my last year in this hobby, I won't pay 30% for mediocre services. It's not like I'm already outpriced with these anti-Russian politics forcing currency drops and all...

I had the same problem, it’s a good game but for me normal difficulty was too easy and on hard the alien was always within 5ft of you.

Download the ‘unpredictable alien’ mod, it’s tiny. It makes it so the tether they programmed into the game is broken and it can literally appear anywhere. Sometimes you’ll run into it, sometimes you’ll hear it elsewhere doing it’s own thing or you can even turn the corner into it. It made it so the moments where the alien is actually there mean something instead of the same level/pace through out. Without that mod I originally quit halfway through, not because I didn’t like the game (the ship is fun to explore on its own and the art/sound design is stellar) but because it just wasn’t any fun.

I play on ps4, not pc. Not sure about the mod. I think i just need more time dedicated to the game, i never play long enough or frequent enough to remember the layout or what the things i picked up do. Whatever.
