So it would seem. I got infracted for stalking Josh once (sorry Josh) when he put me on ignore. I think he was reverse stalking me, personally, but that doesn't change the fact that I was saying mean things to him whenever he showed up wherever I was. I deserved it.
Disagreeing on movies is another story. I listen to a whole lot of crap about movies I like. Most of it deserves no attention, so it gets no attention. But when it gets too ridiculous to bear, I'll say something. If I have to defend what I said, I will. If I don't, I'll leave it at that.
But...if I have to keep defending what I said, I will leave the thread in flame and ruin before I stop defending it. I'd hate to get banned for something like that.

The funny thing is, that we've known most of these mods, back in the day when they were just regular members like everyone else
. In that sense, it's a bit surreal to regard them as having the power to issue infractions, bans or whatever else.But, it is pretty ridiculous if someone gets banned just for stating their opinion. I read through The Hobbit thread, and it didn't seem like CP's ban was warranted. I think the mods should have taken their own advice and cooled down a bit, and things wouldn't have gotten out-of-hand
