When were Jim Carrey's (or any other celebrity's) political views relevant, anyway? For him, I doubt that it's really about guns. It seems more like an act of desperation - getting involved in a controversial topic, so that people would pay attention to him again. Celebs pull that kind of nonsense all the time.

Could be a bit of both. Some people are passoniate about guns, both ways. Who am I to tell them they're wrong?

I'm pro guns. Always have been. I think something needs to be done, but I have no idea what. It's a topic I enjoy reading about, from both sides. What irks me, is the threats and **** when they disagree. It becomes less about the actual topic, and more about the politics.

Yeah, there's a lot of vitriol on both sides. But, politics will eventually make its way into the discussion, since gun control and the right to bear arms concerns the Second Amendment.

I like guns, too. I don't own any, but I would love to have a portable Railgun one of these days (when the technology becomes available). And also, a big nuclear walking tank...

Yeah, I hear ya. In NYC, toy manufacturers are required by law to paint their toy guns with colors resembling Froot Loops cereal :lol.

I really need one of these for my Metal Gear Solid collection:

There were a few Mark 23 aerosoft prop guns selling on Ebay, but they're expensive as heck.

That's beautiful. I would love to start a film gun collection. Get all my favorite iconic weapons from my favorite films.

If you have to ask this question...you are not paying attention.

The number of mindless chattle who hang on the words of celebrities is far, far beyond staggering.

On yahoo.com, almost every day one of the top searches is about one of the Kardashians.

The good thing about that is that those searches are compiled from all over the world. So I still have a great deal of confidence that this is not the mindset of the average American...but of a much smaller global group.

Renner has disappointed me. He has soiled himself with this woman and has had a baby with her.
