Just quoting what someone else said some time back. I've never reported anyone in all my time here. I think it's childish. I did warn a mod about someone who claimed to be 14 posting a pic of himself in his underwear and asking if it was sexy or some such, simply because I didn't want Dave to get in trouble.

Yet some people who can't get help paying for the medical bills or cancer treatments can't get jack squat.

I'm happy to own it if a mod deletes a post I've reported. It's not something I'd normally do and I'm not out to see anybody banned. The partisan politics was making this place feel too much like facebook. At least keep political cheap shots out of the love thread... put 'em in the hate thread or scary thread or random thread or whatever. Not the love thread. The love thread is for love.
The guy's ex-marine, he caught a break... no telling where the breaks go or who really deserves them.
I'm not saying he didn't deserve it, it's just other people put up go fund me pages because they can't afford their medical bills or something other major thing and no one will donate to it, but something that goes viral on Facebook or Twitter and everyone jumps on the band wagon no matter how much has been donated. We have fund raisers in my area all the time for people who need transplants or something and they rarely meet their goals. It's just sad that some of this money can't be spread around a bit.

Yea I saw that he was former military and then felt bad about my comment. Hopefully he's able to turn it around.
The article I read said he's going to use it to clean up and get a job at the Amazon warehouse because of the benefits. So that is a good start I suppose
