59 season. 111 career. Both new state records, and she won the Class C State Championship by sheer refusal to lose. It was ****ing awesome.
My niece is a senior at a private high school. Forward center, varsity field hockey. Last year, with a seasonal record of 32 goals, she brought her team to regional semi-finals, where they lost in overtime. She missed her one shot.
This year, they had one regular season game where they were scored on, for a total of 3 against 142. In the quarter finals, she broke the state record for goals in a career at 110, having already smoked the former seasonal record of 45 with 58.
Before that game was over, she needed 7 stitches in her mouth after getting hit with a high ball. She didn't score at all in the semi-finals, which they barely won at 3-0 (this team became known for high scoring shutouts; 14-0 stands out).
They played as poorly in the state finals. With a 17-0 record, they were tied 2-2 going into sudden death. In first OT, opposing team's forward got a midfield breakaway and cleared the only defender between her and the goalie immediately. From the other end of the field, my niece burned down 50 yards and stopped her shot. By all rights, the game was over. Until it wasn't.
Within moments of second OT underway, she got the same midfield breakaway, maneuvered three defenders, sidestepped the goalie and took a moment to enjoy the view of the net before she made it hers. 3-2. 18-0.

That is one helluva scoring record. Field hockey is an awesome sport, I used to play grade hockey at high school and university. Mostly girls play it in the US though?
