what kind of experiences

One of my Korean friends from college said that objects in her apartment were constantly moving and being rearranged. Like, she could leave a coffee cup on the kitchen counter, go to the bathroom, and when she returned, it was suddenly on her kitchen table. I doubt she had short-term memory problems.

My mom has an old friend, who's also an atheist, but she was "visited" every night by something that walked around her room, and sat at the foot of her bed. She lives alone and it wasn't an intruder because my parents helped her to check, and make sure that all of her doors and locks were secure.

I'm not saying that any of these could be attributed to demonic entities or ghosts, but I certainly wouldn't negate it, either. There's too much about this world that we don't fully understand.

Having a belief in something is independent of its existence. Anything that exists, will continue exist, regardless of your belief (or disbelief) in its existence. Conversely, anything that does not exist, will continue in its state of non-existence, regardless of your belief (or disbelief) in its non-existence.

On another note, I've known people who don't believe in God (but come from a religious background), and have had paranormal experiences in their lives that couldn't explain.

I'm an atheist, and I've had a "paranormal" experience. I saw a bunch of "ghosts" in a graveyard one night, and 4 of the 12 people I was with saw exactly the same thing. We weren't prompting each other either, we asked each other open questions like "do you see that?", and our descriptions were consistent.

But all we saw were figures. They didn't do anything. At the end of the day our senses and faculties often can't be trusted. In an effort to impose order on chaos, our brains have developed various strategies, including arranging image data into patterns and seeing stuff that just isn't there.

Personally I attribute all paranormal events to the very human penchant for filling the gaps in our knowledge with the supernatural.

i gotz nothing.
i even own a quija board and a spirit board(same thing but made of stone and looks better as coffee table topper).
maybe captain howdy finds me boring...i got seen zoned.lolz
maybe its language barrier thing. i cant speak maori. typical, user error.

i always wonder, if im in a foreign place and see "ghosts" and yell out profanities....will my message get across? or will they give me the "what cha say?" look.

ancient man used "god did it" to fill in the gaps, and even made a book about it.

No spoilers please

you have to play the quija board by putting blood on it and calling for a demon by its real name

THEN youll see lol

it doesnt work unless you call a specific spirit

you should lend fosing your address book so he can get his money's worth outta that board

late hours, 5 winters back. we played it in our flat garage, near downtown auckland.
blood letting wasnt in the instructions. specific? like how many spirits you know around here.lolz

*we did try captain howdy...no show, whata jerk. :lol

The most horrifying part of that video is the guy saying he "definitely believes that evil spirits exist".

That **** got a lot of people killed in 1692.

I had a housemate who killed himself one morning. Over the course of the day a string of his friends, none of whom had ever visited him at this particular house before, dropped in to say hello. One by one I had to tell them he was dead. By the end of the evening there was a circle of 6 of his friends sitting on our living room floor coming to terms with his death. It was odd.

It wasn't a coincidence. That's my beliefs anyway.

did your moms old friend ever do anything about that thing visiting?
does it still do?

I don't think she did anything, my parents are both religious and they helped to pray over the property. Aside from that, I'm not sure if anything else happened after. I'll have to ask my mom about it. The last I heard, her friend moved out a few years ago.

What I'm reading about Michael Jackson right now....
