I just watched wisdom teeth extractions on youtube.

Yikes! :(

Probably looks horrific. Happily mine was easy-peasy. All 4 done in the same session, recovery was only a minor nuisance. Glad it was done as they were giving me bad breath, they were so hard to access with a toothbrush.

Yeah, you just make sure you don't eat anything the day before. I had something investigated a couple of years back and the instructions I received were not clear on this. I ended up eating dinner because the literature I received appeared to indicate that I could. But no, you really are supposed to starve yourself for the entire day and night, take the laxative solution and let that do its work.

I ended up in major ****ing panic mode the night before when I decided (too late) to get internet clarification on how I was supposed to prep for the procedure and to my horror found that I'd done it all wrong. It seemed to turn out OK though, it didn't cause a problem.

Which made perfect sense once I read up on it online, I don't know why I didn't do that in the first place instead of relying on the terrible instructions that came with the laxative.

It was embarrassing explaining to them at the hospital that I had eaten and potentially ****ed up the whole thing. It could have been cancelled which I would have hated because I really just wanted to get it over with, had been dreading it since it was booked.

The procedure itself was easy, as you said, I had no memory of it. Woke up what seemed like must have been 5-10 minutes later at most.

Male doctors and nurses, which, for this particular scenario was definitely my preference :lol

I had a blockage from oxicoton meds after surgery. 5 days of no bowel movement, went to ER and they shoved a hose up my *** at 15 that had a laxative. Almost died and was fully awake with a repaired left knee and knee brace sitting akward on a toilet.

Then at 19 had prostate examined by a woman urologist due to having a problem with burning piss unrelated to std since virgin at the time.

You think you had *** problems? :lol

at least both of you didn't have to endure something like this...
