This would all be extremely entertaining if it weren't for my country's (fairly) close proximity to Trump of the Tundra™ a.k.a. Vladimir Putin. Trump can **** up a lot more outside the US than in. It should be the rest of the world that protests really.

Maybe a rapid move to Australia or New Zealand is in order..

move to aussie and prepare for mad max country to unfold. :woo

True, but I never said they were. You're not going to see a bunch of people with mortgages and families to support participating in riots anyway. That doesn't mean they don't have the same level of anger and hatred.

I think the basic difference is that, to interpret the Tea Party desire for limited government as hatred, you need to make a lot of assumptions. They did organize protests, and not only were they genuinely grassroot phenomena, they were universally peaceful. You don't have to assume anything with rioters. The hatred is rabid and self-evident.

I think it's funny that people that don't live in the US somehow think thier opinion or whatever carries any kind of weight

I don't know if you are a Trump supporter or firmly in the other camp, but either way you need to develop a sense of humour about it fast. After all it's you (the US population) who voted for him. :lol

The hate was pretty self evident from members who had signs calling Obama a monkey and a Kenyan Muslim. Not condemning the ideology, just some of the people using it as an excuse to use hate speech.

Also, this was an interesting read:

Saying mean things is a lot different than wanton destruction and assault.

Hmm, can't remember when the NAACP came out and condemned any of the more radical black American groups. Probably not the best group to use to further your argument. Just saying.
