I lowball sellers on eBay all the time. Some of em' agree to what I'm offering, some of em' ignore me, some of em' flip their **** and write up a long rant about all the fees they have to pay. I always play the "hey bro, why are you trying to sell this for $250 when it ends consistently at $40-$70? Give it to me for $80." Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.
Ain't no shame. I've been buying and selling online for over 12 years now and haggling has always been the best part of it. I've gotten absurd offer messages from crazy buyers that I've declined while also asking absurd offers to sellers that somehow got accepted. I'm a cheap bastard that likes deals so maybe I'm too easy on people that send me low ball offers for the stuff I'm looking to sell. It doesn't bother me. It wastes like 20 seconds of my time before I just ignore them completely.
