The most triggered I've ever seen anybody by the word cuck, I'm sorry, I should've been more sensitive.

It's not sensitivity you're lacking so much as an awareness of context.

You've been playing passive-aggressive victim these past few pages, filling up your buzz-word bingo card with 'lefty', 'triggered','Nazi', 'virtue signalling' and the like. You're a stereotype with delusions of intellectualism. I've got no more time to waste on your nonsense :wave

I hope you feel better after that...

And still no quote. :monkey3

Well if there's someone you can trusted it's the jilted ex going through a messy divorce

A lot of womwn brought that up ( ironically)
Yet the fact that he never denied it, at all is pretty telling.

The lady probably has his letter, he didnt deny it because there is probably proof. His own writing.

“Fifteen years later, when he was done with our marriage and finally ready to tell the truth, he wrote me, ‘When I was running ‘Buffy,’ I was surrounded by beautiful, needy, aggressive young women. It felt like I had a disease, like something from a Greek myth. Suddenly I am a powerful producer and the world is laid out at my feet and I can’t touch it,’” Cole recounted. “But he did touch it.”

“Later, after he confessed everything, he told me, ‘I let myself love you. I stopped worrying about the contradiction. As a guilty man I knew the only way to hide was to act as though I were righteous. And as a husband, I wanted to be with you like we had been. I lived two lives,’” she wrote.

Cole wrote that when Whedon left her, he chalked up his behavior to the over-sexualized, patriarchal culture that men are apparently inevitably bound to get caught

But why care what goes on in someone else's marriage. It's no one else's business that he's a crappy person and she's too dumb to realize what's going on

His personal life is his own business yes but he was a dude who LOVED to publicly pontificate at every opportunity and it is damn ironic that not only was he NOT holier than thou but rather was just another scumbag hiding behind a wall of self-righteousness.

Hes a very influential person in a big position of power. Hes also very famous and very vocal about fighting sexism.
You might not care at all about his marriage or the wife,
But he is a big name in the entertainment business. You cant blame people to find this shocking. Specially with how vocal hes always been about fighting the patriarchy, when he was just as guilty.
Didnt Bill O'Reilly get fired for something similar????? Using his position of power to seduce women?

The problem is that you don't know what the marriage was like that resulted in this.

I'm 100% on board with Joss Whedon being extremely hate-able but the two have nothing to do with each other.

No. O'Reilly got fired for attempting to seduce women using his position of power.

He first cheated ONE year into his marriage, thats pretty douchey regardless. If he saw so much willing tail at his work, why not divorce her, why keep the wife? Thats pretty evil. And u will say "Who Cares?"

But, Didnt tiger woods lose money from his cheating? Didnt that affect his business?

they didnt get trick into sex, the trick was him making everyone believe the person he wanted them to think he was
