That's the problem with this #metoo nonsense. It makes the spectrum of sexual assault and harassment so broad as to be meaningless. If the women who stiffened your uncle's loins were senior colleagues of his, or sought to humiliate him, that'd make it a more serious incident. But otherwise, yeah, sounds like he should be more bummed that he missed an epic threesome.
So his problem is that two women hit on him at the same time?
Oh the horror!!!!!!

Exactly. And all the responses he's getting are saying things like ''I'm so sorry this happened to you'' - serious responses, they're not joking. Talk about over-dramatic.
He hasn't elaborated further on the story and I hate posting on facebook, particularly when it looks like if I responded with what I'm saying here I'd be ripped apart by these people. Anyway he referred to these women as ''older girls'' - I'd be curious to know exactly how much older. If he was 19 then even twenty-somethings could be considered ''older girls''. He said he
did find it arousing...so does that mean they were indeed attractive? And I wonder what he thought their intentions were. Was it just to embarrass him or could it have been a real attempt at seduction. If the former, as I said, damn *******, if the latter....sorry but wahayyyy!
Men and women
are different. If 2 men approached a woman like this - yes it's bad. We are generally bigger and stronger than women and so there's physical intimidation coming into play, it would just be very very suspect. If a man wants to seduce a woman he has to go about it a different way.
But is it so wrong for a woman to approach a man like this? Case in point - I exist today because my mother grabbed my dad's *** as he was walking past her in order to get his attention. Sexual assault? Or ultimately something pretty harmless, and hey it worked n' all.
In the case of my Uncle, they approached, rubbed up against him etc etc - he didn't know what the **** to do with that - and presumably they left him alone. He doesn't mention if he ever ''endured'' any further encounters with them, I'm guessing not.
As I said, this seems like a Penthouse letter where the fun never kicks off.
I think if it's harassment every time you come on to someone and they don't feel the same, then we're all in trouble.
And there can never be any Penthouse letter scenarios anymore if society has to live in complete paranoia about this.
I dunno how sexually liberated Ireland was in the 70s. Maybe the church still had it's feelers on everything and pressured everyone into thinking that all things *** were bad outside of marriage - so when these women came onto him he was like ''oh no, oh no! Filthy harlots!'' inside his head.
However if this happens to a 19 year old in the 2000s, when the influence of the church has waned significantly, when we're more sexually liberated and aware
but it's also too soon for the far left dictating that everything is racist, everything is sexist, everything is bigotted, words are violence and everything is sexual assault......that same scenario could have been a threesome, enjoyed by all parties, end of. Or not?
