Hypocrisy or not, Schwarzenegger and co's message is on point. Meat consumption in China is unsustainable in environmental terms given the massive expansion of their middle class and present livestock/agricultural management and technologies.

So long as there's no historical or cultural value attached to it it's hard to care about people destroying their own stuff.

They're on point alright but America is not even addressing the issue; at least not much. People think it's cool to be putting down vegetarian/vegan and such but the reality is, people don't need that much meat.

If we lived according to the limits of what we need, there would have been no point to leaving the cave.

I'm criticizing the motive, or rather, the 'reasoning' behind the motive.

If we live according to what we all wants, we'll eventually over populate and starve to death. We're digging our own grave. Nothing wrong with limitation.

Global warming, limited resources, and over population, would make it seem like it. Problem is that technology won't be enough or catch up fast enough.

Now we just elect the perfect leader to decide who propagates and who doesn't...how much you make...how long you live...

Don't think we'll have choices by then. They'll have all our votes, meats, etc. Some might say that we have no choices now anyway, but that's for another time.

people dont need to limit themselves to grass. if you do it by choice good for you, keep it to yourselves. enjoy your grass. i dont see the reason why everybody else has to suffer banning bacon on my table limiting my food choices to grass. :lol

Maybe they should stop having kids instead. They shame their lower classes to only have one child (usually keep the boys, chuck the girls, if they don't abort them first) then the upper classes have more.

No one is limiting you to grass. There is always gonna be people who want meat but there is nothing wrong with limitation. It's just a matter of time before limitation be forced upon people. They forced water rationing in CA or at least have laws in place. Just a matter of time before they'll force something else. Most, if not everything, is related one way or another.

Forced, huh?
