think SS will beat Medicoms Boba?

Im really considereding buying Medicoms Boba, but knowing SS might announce theirs, I wonder if they will beat Medicom.. because its such a stellar figure and Medis scale wont be as much a deal since Boba is supposed to be small.

I'm sure SST will offer a product at least on par with Medicom's effort.
Just look at SST's Vader.

And I own and love Medicom's Boba Fett and Vader.

I'm 90% confident a Sideshow Boba Fett will match or better Medicom's effort. The one area I'm uncertain of with Sideshow is the helmet shape. To me, Medicom nailed everything about the helmet, the angles, shapes, it's perfect and so far Sideshow's Fett helmets have been off in some way to me, the bronze statue, the Jango helm with Mace, and the PF.

thanks Maulfan, thats how I felt too, Medicoms products usually dont cut it for me, but this Boba just looks RIGHT to me, and I can get one for a very reasonable price, hence the question.

Who knows..i have the medicom and love it.. the attention to small details is great...and recently..SSC has been lack luster in this area.

If they use the armor body and not the awkward Pro, it'll likely be at least as good.

Having said that, I have the Medi Boba and it's a brilliant figure. Some folks have had problems with body breakage, but mine is still as solid as the day I got it.

lol I think Ill just buy Medicoms, cant have too many Bobas anyway! Wonder if SS will put a sculpt underneath the helmet.. and if SS version turns out to be poop (god forbid) I probably will be very happy with my decision lol.

It is a great looking figure, I don't know how you feel about Boba Fett, but even if Sideshow's is 100% equal or better than Medicom's I'll still happily hold onto the Medicom, it looks so nice and I find it a bit rare to find a Boba Fet that really captures the look of the character so nicely as their figure does.

I would actually prefer Fett on the Pro, from what I gather, the armor bodies still come out floppy but the Pro has been vastly improved in that regard. A floppy Fett would suck.

Medi Vader didn't set as high a bar for Vader figures as Medi Boba Fett does for Fett figures.

In height yes...but i have both SSC and Medicom Vaders....and if the medicom where taller..it would be better... The anakin face sculpt alone (ROTJ) is better than any SSC star wars sculpt to date..and how old is this thing?

Looks like the overall quality on the Medi ROTS Vader is better than the SS. I have only had the SS version though.

Not much of a answer. We all know SS isn't going to give theirs soft vinyl gauntlets or a cheap plastic belt. That alone will put them over.

While that head is nice, it is way underscaled, and I'm sure when SS does their Anakin, he will be nicer. As for the rest, yea, SS is better, not just with height.
