icic... you managed to get the statue is prefect condition right? That's the most important issue.. money is secondary..
For some, money is secondary, yes, but $131 is a lot of money and I'd fight for it.

Hello Scott,
Thanks again for contacting Live Search cashback Customer Support. I sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you. While reviewing your cashback account this morning I discovered that eBay may have already corrected this cancellation for you. I am seeing two cashback amounts in your account of $137.70. One of which is showing as cancelled and it looks like the other one is the corrected cashback. If this is not the case, you will need to contact eBay customer support as we do not have the ability to assist you further with this issue.
Currently, we only offer e-mail support. We are working to bring our chat support back and it should be up within the next couple of weeks. Again, I am sorry you are having a hard time with this service. Have a nice day!
Andy,
Live Search cashback Customer Support

This is absolutely unacceptable.
Why am I being punished/penalized for a mistake on the seller's part? The seller tried to stiff the post office and only paid a few bucks for shipping the item when it cost around $12. I had to pay the difference. And now I am not eligible for my cashback reward? This is BS. If this mistake is not resolved, I will take this further. There is absolutely no reason why my refund shouldn't be honored per the agreement. I wasn't refunded any money, the money that was refunded me was to cover the cost of shipping the seller irresponsible didn't pay.
I would like to talk to an actual person over this.

You have earned a rebate of $131.70 from your eBay purchase on 10/13/2008:
Details cashback
eBay
Unit price: $445.50
Quantity: 1 $131.70
It all worked out. So even though there was a minor partial refund, Paypal/Microsoft still honored the cashback. Other than the few template emails from CS, communication from PP and MS Live was minimal.
