Quick quesiton for those who have already picked up Michael Jackson's THIS IS IT on Blu-Ray (Best Buy Exclusive Edition)...

Which 3D Backstage Pass did you end up choosing? I'm asking this because I want to know which 3D Pass was most favorable among the MJ fans. I liked Version 3 because of MJ's outfit and pose, but after debating which one would look better on my shelf, I just ended up going with the Version 1 for some reason. Now, Version 1 is cool but it's a snap shot I've seen hundreds of times, the other two are somewhat new and would have been interesting to see in 3D. I just want to know who chose what is all. Please let me know!

I bought all 3 Exclusive Editions! :lol:rock:D

Got my copy yesterday... bittersweet... :monkey2

Does the Blu-Ray come with a D-Copy?

Seems like only Wal-Mart does but just for PSP...
it's a mess...
Each exclusive has different featurettes that should be standard IMO...
as usual, Sony screwing up the fans...

As far as I understand, Wal-Mart has this extra features:

  • The Unfinished Rehearsals reveals two show-stopping concepts that never got shown on the big screen.
  • Meet the Dancers interviews each of the 11 dancers that were chosen from over 5,000 applicants.
  • Meet the Band goes behind the scene with the band members that were chosen to perform alongside Michael Jackson.
  • Meet the Vocalists goes behind the scene with the vocalists that were chosen to sing alongside Michael Jackson.

Best Buy, besides the 3D passes exclusives and collector's Tin case:

  • Dancing Machine showcases the collaboration between Michael Jackson and choreographer Travis Payne on preparing the dance choreography for This Is It.

Target has a BD/DVD combo... and they are giving away 3D glasses for the Grammy Tribute:

I watched This is It finally last night and ironically I thought "Is this it?".... I was kind of let down. He barely even sang the J5 song I Want You Back.

3.5/5

This was a rehearsal... :dunno...
It was recorded originally just for MJ's personal library, it wasn't a full force concert, just a behind the scenes intimate look at how he worked his magic.

You guys are lucky, over here in England it comes out on the 22nd of February. :'( But the good news is I got thr head for my History Billie Jean, :D

Whats this 3D stuff you guys are talking about?

Yeah thanks. I was aware of that along with the rest of the world's 6.3 billion population. :lol

I meant that some people were expecting a concert... it's a rehearsal... rehearsals aren't 100% like the concerts will be...
A series of full rehearsals were planned the following week MJ died, once everybody was in London. :peace

stop being insensitive Pix. "This Is It" was the greatest movie that wasn't supposed to be released if not for vultures wanting to make loads of money off a dead person EVAR. Right ahead of "Passion".

Watched the film for the first time last night. :) LOVED IT!!!!!!!!!! :rock

Makes me Glad, Happy, and Sad all at the same time.
Glad that Kenny Ortega had this film made so that Michael's Fans, Friends, Family, and most of all his Children got a chance to see Michael on stage one last time. I was so happy to see Michael happy again after all the years of BS he had to put up with from the media, and those who made up lies about him to try to get money from him.
Sad that Michael is gone.:monkey2

Thank you Kenny Ortega for this film.

Most of all, Thank you Michael Jackson for making the world a better place. You are truly missed and will always be remembered.

Nick
