I don't like thinking of MJ as he appeared toward the end. I think I'll pass and re-watch the "Beat It" video instead.

I really wish they would release an old concert--circa 1984--in high quality DVD/Blu Ray. That's something I would see and buy.

He was going to do 50 concerts in London... but since he died, the next best thing is all the footage recorded of the rehearsals...

In the press conference for the concert, he stated this was for the fans & he planned on doing just the songs they wanted. He claimed is was to be for the fans & he was adding alot of elements to the performance to make it like nothing seen before.

He hired a magician who said Michael planned to have a glowing orb that he held in his hand that would fly through the audience and return back to his hand.

Where all is the film playing? I do not want to buy tickets and then find out the film is not playing in my area.

I'm going to be buying my ticket at my local Mann Theater tomorrow. I don't necessarily look at it as a cash in but rather a tribute to him and what he accomplished in his career. It's gonna be sad to watch knowing it was his last time on stage and he died so suddenly not long afterwards but I'm not gonna miss it. R.I.P. MJ.

And Monster, as far as I know this is going to be playing pretty much everywhere. Call up your local theater and ask them if they're going to be selling tickets.

Yep, it's wide release... they also just announced that some IMAX theaters will show it too...

Personally I don't like the way they are selling these...
people should be able to just go to the theater and buy their tickets...
this presale sucks...

I dunno. I don't get anything about MJ. I liked him back when Thriller was out? So I would have been in grade 4 or 5? Then after that, got into metal and Metallica and hair band stuff, so MJ went out the window for me anyway lol Oh then he got all weird soon after on me anyway. So that was the nail in the coffin too.
