I might get this - depends on the price. Hopefully they get rid of the rod and replace it with clear plastic.

That falcon isn't going to weight more than the hair clippings off my T-850 Cinemaquette. It does not need a metal rod to support it. They may still change to clear plastic for a much better appearence.

When I look at this picture, my eyes are drawn to (in this order):
1. The slug
2. The rod
3. The Falcon
But the (probably) very small size will bug me more than the rod. It could just be the flash/reflection/angle that is making it stand out more than it will in person.
