He only needs to remake ESB and ROTJ so they all suffer from a weak director with great ideas.
Let's see if I can go full blasphemous --
I actually think the entire OT should be remade to take into account everything that was revealed in the PT. Think of how different ANH would be if the filmmakers actually knew that Vader was Luke's father and Luke and Leia were brother and sister? Obi-wan wouldn't be calling Vader "Darth" but Ani - just like Dumbledore calls Voldemort "Tom" to belittle him.
And the Jedi battle can be all jumping around. Yoda could be freed from just sitting there too. We could see the destruction of Organa from planetside. There could be more aliens throughout the series rather than just in the bar. Computer screens wouldn't have to look like a 1973 Atari.
Perhaps it needs another 10 years, so it can be remade in 4D holovision, but remade it must be.
You didn't mention that both had some guys fighting some other guys, both had characters speaking in English, both had credits.I'm sure there are some I can't think of.
I'm sorry Craw but....you leave me no choice

Of course, the same goes for the prequels. The 2nd one (don't remember the name) and the 1st one (something something "Clones" something) both had the following:
-crappy acting -check
-crappy special effects -check
-crappy characters doing crappy things -double check
-crappy, forgettable, convoluted storylines -check
Kind of spooky, now that I think about it.
If you want to the see the ANH "redone" to fit in with the new PT , check out Adywans edit of ANH. Very well done in my opinion.
Leia's "Aren't you a little short for a Stormtrooper" comment supposedly says otherwise. "TK-421" doesn't exactly sound like someone's name and rank either. As for for PT-era Clone Troopers, keep 'em in the PT.
That version exists Dave. It was made by Adywan and it is T'awesome.
Color represents individuality and diversity. The Empire was about one person being in control of everything without question. Every soldier looking exaclty the same (within there designated roles) shows absolute order.
ok guys, this needs to be said. i'm sure MANY of you agree with me, but the clones look AWESOME. not only do they look awesome, they were awesome in what they did. from killing droids, to killing jedi.
yeah, it's a shame that these guys started out as kicka$$ characters, then became the villains...but nonetheless, they rock.
on top of that, their armor is full of win.
that being said...i PERSONALLY want lucas to digitally add clones into the OT or alter some stormtroopers to have the EP3 clone armor and helmet.
yeah, i know, i have a feeling i'm gonna be targeted by many...but i don't care. the clones did WAY more than the troopers of the OT, and they looked cool doing it too.
so yeah, curse me all you want, i hope and WANT clones in the OT.
That doesn't really mean anything. Many armies have had height restrictions, and the Stormtroopers were different heights and had different voices in the OT anyway. TK-421 could just as easily be a code name to me.
I'm totally in favor of leaving the OT alone. .....but......the one thing I would like to see is the Stormtroopers in ROTJ , have a least a bit of camoflauge on them. Likelike the clones on Kaaashyk. It only makes sense, they were in a forest, even the rebels were wearing camo!
That's why I said "supposedly." The OT doesn't definitively say whether any of the Stormtroopers are clones or not. But some old magazine or article was published way back in '78 or '79 where Lucas talks about the Stormtroopers being clones. I'm way too lazy to bother trying to track it down online but Leia's question about Luke's height was *supposedly* written because the characters in the movie knew the Empire used clones.
Do you have to interpret it that way? Nope, because they didn't go into any greater detail on screen, which is all that really counts. My point was that the OT films never give any reason to assume the soldiers can't be clones, especially when you take certain lines of dialogue and interpret them the way the writer/director talked about them in interviews at the time.
