Again, I like toys and I freely admit it. I'm probably one of the oldest guys here. Personally I think statues are for guys who are embarrassed to love action figures and so they tell themselves statues are ok, the chicks won't laugh at statues. :lol

I proudly display my figures in my own living room. Nobody gives me crap because they know I'm mature and that I will win any argument they put forth as to why I shouldn't buy them. Thinking that adults shouldn't buy toys is just one the many things our society has decided on for no logical reason whatsoever. There hasn't been a male friend of mine come threw my place that didn't find my stuff cool. In other words they'd like to own it too, but it isn't the "grown up" thing to do, they're worried what other people will think. Well, I'm not wired that way, I only care about what I think when it come to my home, property and money.

I just give them the look I may turn green but I don't have a mirror at that moment while I'm looking at them. Everyone carries on and we live happily ever after.

:lecture :lecture :lecture tru story.

Guys, I've done the whole "Game of Death" (conquer one level and procede to the next) route to collecting and I've come full circle. It started with comics, then Garage Kits, which led to the McFarlane era of action figures. After those came the 1:6 scale figures which led to statues and eventually PFs. Now that I've collected pretty much all types of collectibles, I'm back to reliving my childhood and almost exclusively collect 3 3/4", 8" & 12" figures from the 70's & 80's. Thanks to all you guys focusing on newer stuff, I've been able to find great deals on older stuff.
