INDEED!

I would buy anything Ghostbusters related that Sideshow produces! If there's one company that should be working hard to get that license it's Sideshow Collectibles!

I'm know for a fact that there are alot, I mean ALOT of Ghostbusters fans out there. I'd be very interested to see what kind of reception a GB line would receive.

We've talked about it before NSF, you know I would be behind a GB line...

I second GHOSTBUSTERS.

For those of you in LA, ROTS just started on HBO...just in time for the newsletter in an hour.
Awesome! Join the, dare I say, "crusade" to prove that we are "Ready To Believe You, Sideshow!"

As for ROTS... I could be at my parent's house watching that in HD on their 42" HDTV right now instead I'm here at work.

Argh!!! :emperor

The Ghost Busters would also be pretty inexpensive to produce. The 4 of them all use the same proton packs, same style jumpsuits. All that would would need to do it really just headsculpts. I guess they could also make a special getting fat Dan Aykroyd body.

Actually they have slight differences in costumes. Although I think we have a better chance of seeing them thru Hot Toys rather than a US company. You can thank Bill Murray for that. Hell even NECA had been trying to secure his likeness rights for years, but that have been unsuccessful. They even contemplated generic looking Ghostbusters that had the "essence" of the actors just not their dead on likenesses. Bummer. That's what the guy at the NECA booth told me last year. They ran into the same problem with Clive Owen and Benicio Del Toro over SIN CITY action figures. Some dudes just won't give them up no matter what.

That sux....It would be a dream come true to have a action figure made from my likeness....hmmmm....Maybe thats what happened with Modern Kurgan, Clancy Brown didnt give SS his likeness so they had to make the "essence" of him.:lol:lol

Since this thread has a fever, and the only cure is more ghostbusters, I wonder if somebody might just make the costumes and accessories, or use likeness of other "stars" like Brian Doyle Murray, or that guy that played Eraserhead...and just make customs from that.:lol

I hear sniffing...

Anywho, that stinks. I guess if they are made by Hot Toys that would rule out any sort of premium format 1/4 scale figures (DROOOOL by the way...:drool).

Don't get me wrong, Hot Toys pay very close attention to details, we all know that. I guess, as DekeStarkiller said, the likeness rights of da actors has been very difficult. Which is too bad. For shame!
