Hey can I ask this group a question? Because this piece looks so great, i attempted to order from my local rep. He said its sold out for wholesale purposes, despite the site showing its still in pre-order? Does that sound right?

I'm guessing as a wholesaler he gets X price, a discount, so he can make money on the piece. He probably can't get any more at that price. He'd have to buy just as you would buy, and then mark it up above what you'd pay directly from SS.

Why not just order straight from SS?

i think part of it too is that SS really messes w/ business by not changing the status of products to what it really is. as example, mine has shipped, others already have them... this is a "now shipping" product, not "pre-order".

Welcome! Retailers place their orders for statues for a "wholesaler pool." So basically, Sideshow sets aside X% quantity for wholesalers, and then once those sell out, that's that (unless Sideshow wants to add more to the pool). It can be available on the Sideshow website, but that doesn't mean it's available to wholesalers anymore.

I think you'll be happy with it. Easy to assemble, and easy to change shelf heights at any time.

Yeah, I had to carry the 6' one up two flights of stairs. I think it was 85 pounds.

totally agree with you, however he gives me a fixed all in quote that is about 250-300 less than importing on my own. I am not sure how he does, maybe just bad at math lol.

If you’re happy with the regular, locally is definitely the way to go because of the money you can save.

For me if I were to order the regular from Sideshow I would have to pay an additional 50% or more over what I’m paying locally.
