Taking my Thor down to Calgary this weekend to get customized into modern Thor. Mine arrived damaged (right leg broken clean off), so not much else I can do with it. Will post some pics when it's done!

Pretty much how I feel. I would like to pick up a LSF eventually though. I keep looking at Doom, I may get that depending on the price

Nice. Yeah, I am planning to get into town around noon or so. Then I'll grab some lunch, take my kid to the zoo, and head home. Long day, but I'm not shipping this thing again...no point in risking more damage.

I might actually have to sell my Thor & a chunk of my collection. With my wife pregnant with our 2nd baby she's desperate to move to Cornwall to be with her parents & family.

I know. She's been really quiet lately & I've been expecting it in a way. I promised her if she didn't settle I would move there. Her parents want her up there to & she does love it there.

This will be worse case scenario though so hopefully it won't come to that. I'm just thinking the worse.

Yeah I'll never be fully out. I'll never sell my Spiderman CQ for example. I must admit I'm working money out & I probably won't need to sell my collection. I just need to be sensible with my PO's. I was planning on getting a nice new 55" plasma this w.end

Saw your Rhino sitting on the kitchen table when I dropped off my Thor. Not sure what you had done to it, but it looked great. That thing is HUGE! Definitely bigger than it looks in any pics I have seen.

I am the same way...there are some collectibles that I just couldn't ever part with. My ASM #1, and if I ever am able to get one, my future Amazing Fantasy 15 will stay with me until I die and be passed on to my sons.

Well...here's an update on my Thor.

Turns out it was in worse shape than I thought. There was a crack in the cape and it broke off. Apparently it can be fixed like new, though. The sculptor says that it looks like there were a few manufacturing defects on this one.

I'm somewhat surprised to see that it is hollow (although, it wasn't as heavy as I expected).

You may be too late...I'm hoping I have a sale on this guy and my Hulk Comi (with a local buyer, too...so no shipping worries) . I'll be sad to see these pieces go, but I have to make room (and $$$), and these guys just didn't make the cut.

Yes, well...I was pretty distraught when I first received the news last night. Almost cut my losses right there, but the guy says that he can fix it like new, and the broken cape makes applying the new armor easier for him, I guess.

So, here is hoping for no more surprises!!
