Yes, well...I was pretty distraught when I first received the news last night. Almost cut my losses right there, but the guy says that he can fix it like new, and the broken cape makes applying the new armor easier for him, I guess.

So, here is hoping for no more surprises!!

That's what i thought when i saw it was broken, and afterwards should be an easy fix imo.

The Thor EX was gone by the following morning. I recall the SS newsletter was way late that Thursday (SS was having server issues) so I called it quits sometime after 8 PM only to see the following AM it came out very late the previous night, even worse the waitlist was already up.

IIRC I jumped on the waitlist about 6:30 AM that morning. Gave up hoping it would convert as I never got a notice even when it started shipping.

As luck would have I did end up getting a conversion but i really sweated it out on that guy ... the good ole days.

Thanks, guys. I am pretty pleased with how it turned out. Wish I could take the credit, but all I did was pay the dude who did the all the work.

I'm so happy to finally have Thor on display. I had forgotten just how immense Thor is!!

I wish it never got broken in the first place, but in all honesty, I prefer the modern costume. I'm hoping SS do a PF of the new Thor 2 costume...I really like the look of that one.

I really hope SS make a Loki PF some time soon. With the rumours of a Modern Thor in the works hopefully SS will make a Loki to go with him like they did with the new Cap & Red Skull.

Just wanted to share with you my latest purchase which I picked up last night...one of my favourite pieces and definately one of the most beautifully sculpted statues ever made by Sideshow. The comic Thor PF exclusive!!!!

Its definately up there in my collection Frost. As a massive Iron Man fan, the MKIII 1:2 LSF still has to be my favourite. However, this Thor PF still has to be one of the best sculpted statues released to date by Sideshow
