how long have you kept him? two months?
Though I much prefer the clean shaven look, the change-o-head is still extremely cool just for the repaint convenience alone. Like with the exclusive Anakin PF, if you ever want a customizer to make your Thor head *perfect* its so much easier to just ship out the head instead of a 40+ lb. statue.
I just showed the prototype pics to my wife and she said he reminded her of Mr. Incredible. She said he looked like a superhero who was over the hill and whose suit didn't fit quite as well as it used to...

Looking at those I think the best way to display him will be at a 3/4 angle so instead of looking at his chin you'll see more of his face.

The cape is too short. I've been looking at all the other Thor sculpts from various manufacturers and they all have longer capes. I hope Sideshow go back and make the cape longer.
Nah, the cape is fine. There's enough classic comic book source material to leave the cape as is.

No you are not. I have loved the piece since it came up for pre-order. In my eyes it's perfect. And for the record the PF don't look like Mr. Incredible cause Thor aint gone to seed.

I agree... only other Marvel peices I have are the AH girls and old west GR.
I like the bearded head just as well and both will get equal display time!!!!
Positioned like this, I have no problem with the pose whatsoever. Awesome PF.

Yep, in the dark, the jersey he has on doesn't look as bad. And that angle I agree is the best. Unfortunately, when people look at it closer, his jersey and belt will be the weak link. Even at that angle you can't see the misspelled words on his hammer. This is gonna be one awesome PF. I didn't realize he's grown on me quicker than Galadriel PF did --- except for his jersey and belt, 'natch.

I think his battle cloak is too short, it should hang down to his ankles.
