But separating Banner from Hulk entirely is a totally vicious Hulk

Cap has brushed off being blasted with RPG fire and face planting into concrete from a long drop!

Spidey was pulled down from 20 feet into the ground and takes his mask off to whine to Stark. :lol

IM i'm probably wrong with power level, he's probably spot on as well.

But intelligence wise Marvel is doing a good job skimming over who can do what.

Power Levels... Black Widow looks like an out of her depth, scared rabbit against The Winter Soldier in TWS.. and then Sharon Carter goes toe to toe with him in Civil War...riiiightt.

But yeah, Cap really sure gets to play the "Hulk Hogan" card in his last couple of outings. All he needs is the ability to fly and he'll be battling Superman..

Cap got the best of Spidey during the webslinger's triumphant arrival into the MCU. Hulk and Thor don't stand a chance. :lol

Took all I had not to stand up in the theater and yell bull****.

And just what are Panthers powers? Super Soldier like stuff? Spiffy Super Suit? Might eggs and bacon? Catnip?

lol at Hulk Hogan Captain America. Whatchagonnado Mean Gean!!

Spider-Man had had his powers for six months, it's not too strange for a seasoned soldier with super powers to hold his own. It's why Cap has managed to tussle with Spidey in the comics so many times.

As for the MCU Black Panther, he's a super-good athlete with martial arts training and also some very cool gadgets. I don't see what's so perplexing about that. It's like Tony also getting some training alongside his armour. And T'Challa being a Prince of an advance nation like Wakanda means that he was trained to do those things since youth. It's all perfectly reasonable IMO.

Perplexing...

I don't see how he could run faster than Capt and the ability to lower Capts shield without having powers. The same Capt that defeated a Spidey who should be stronger and vastly quicker than Capt. Wheaties and a morning jog aren't going to do it. But then again, Black Widow has mastered the one inch punch on everyone.

Eh, it was the only word that came to mind, I didn't mean to sound condescending, sorry.

Well, he's the Prince of the most advanced nation on Earth. Even if he has no powers, he still has his suit, which is bound to be technologically advanced, so that may have something to do with it. In the comics, every Panther eats the Heart Shaped Herb, which gives him/her super-powers like Cap's. Either way, that was just an introduction to the character, it doesn't bother me that things were left out. The Russos have said numerous times they wanted T'Challa to be somewhat of a blank slate, so that Coogler can create his own version. If they introduced the Herb and he didn't want to use it for certain reasons, then there'd be a fallout. As it stands, he's the Prince/King of the most advanced nation on Earth, owns the most precious metal on Earth and is dangerous. That's enough for a glorified cameo.

That's the unknown at this point until Panther gets his stand-alone movie. How much of his enhancement comes from suit. How much of it comes from some other form of meta-human enhancement? If he is just peak level street base human then him fighting Bucky unsuited made no sense to me... As for Spidey, lol.. just go to Comic-Vine to see the level of upset about that one.

If I have one fault with the battles in Civil War, it is that they seemed determined to equally match all the hand to hand style fighters. There wasn't much to distinguish Cap, Bucky, Panther, Widow, Carter... and even Spidey... although Cap gets to play the Hulk Hogan "Im the top billed star, so I am > all... hell, put the Hulk in MY movie and I'll even > him" card..

The Winter Soldier seemed better in that respect in that Natasha quickly realised she was battling against TWS. And although Cap had a couple of impressive top billed feats with his shield and the laws of gravity, at least he wasn't physically countering a helicopter on strength alone or throwing motorcycles at people..

Catnip is a hell of a drug. :lol

1" punch = lol

But you have to admit her cgi stunt double kicked serious ass in CW. :lol

BP is a heart shaped herb addict. :lol

I hope Marvel finds the courage to shed some light on BP's heart shaped magical herb addiction but seeing how they ignored Stark's alcoholism I seriously doubt they will.

Black widow was terrified of Bucky in TWS because she was traumatized by the previous encounter. In Civil War she tried to hold her own. She did it once, she could do it again. Carter never faced Bucky, nor is she scared from a traumatic encounter to stop her.

During the airport scene, you have to realize Bucky is himself again, he isn't trying to kill anyone especially Panther since he wants to prove he didn't kill T'Chaka.

And BvS isn't MOS 2 lol.

The RPG and face planting survival have to do more with his shield design than his power level. The vibranium in Cap's shield absorbs and redirects sound, energy, and impact away from his body. MCU Cap is still stronger than his MU character but that shield is built to withstand some serious damage in both the MCU and MU.

Oh believe me i'm very well aware of what his shield is capable of, but go look at those scenes again.

His body gets slammed into sharp concrete and steel corners at high velocity from great distances!

He's been blown thru glass, steel reenforced concrete and even a bus. isn't it awesome! :lol

But isn't BP = Cap in terms of physical strength?

Depending on the version. Base Power BP minus the Heart Herb is peak human, just like Batman. Herb T'Challa is around Cap's league. King of the Dead T'Challa is well above 616 Cap. Counting his suit, he stalemated Cap in CW without the Herb. Recently, he tussled with Namor himself.
