My biggest hope was to get a Thor that looked decent, they had the new costume down, the helmet looked good too, but now they ruined it and everything looks like the Hunger Games.

Nevertheless I'm convinced this is gonna be the usual fun and disposable flavor of the week MCU movie we're all used to, maybe this time around the humor will be genuinely funny since the director is better at it.

Still, the action may be the highlight, or I hope.

Best case scenario he sports the long hair for a while, all and all I still look forward to it, there's no redemption for MCU Thor at this point so they can try whatever and experiment.

Christ, this looks terrible.

Might be the first ever Marvel related movie I don't watch opening night.

I bet the moment the first trailer drops, with Thor and Hulk kicking ass, all of you will be back on the hype train.

I'm fairly indifferent to the comics myself so I'm not offended by what I've seen or heard from this movie. A Thor (or ''Thor'' if people insist) and Hulk pairing is undeniably exciting, I'm looking forward to it.

I will attempt to speak your language.

For Gaspar and other Thor fans, this "thor" is like a T-800 model 101 not wearing sunglasses. :panic:

Well, it shouldn't be hard, all everyone expect at this point, including me, is a big dumb action movie with lots of comedy, we won't be disappointed.

Oh but there's much more than that, he's a *******, the costume is off, he's nerfed, and now he looks like a chad too.

He's parody material, which is why the director is perfect for this and the skits with Darryl work so well.

I'd say MCU Thor is more like "Pops" in Genysis. Quirky yet unfunny, pretty bland and with no redeeming qualities. Which is a shame, since Hemsworth does look like Thor and considering his performance in Rush, he could pull off a more "violent" Thor. Not Ennis' Vikings Thor, but close enough.

Honestly, they should've just gone with Ultimate Thor. He was ****ing great in Ultimates I & II, plus all the stuff by Hickman. Ult!Thor & Ult!Tony were super-duper bros. Much better than Tumblr's Stony or the casuals' Science Bros. Cool!Bros > Other!Bros

Feige usually gets all the credit or the lion share when things go well but he should get the blame as well for stuff like this.
Thor needs to die sacrifically and heroically in the Infinify War to salvage his good name and go to the big reboot in the sky.
What a waste of Hemsworth, he had it all for the part except good scripts.
Give us Beta RayBill as his worthy successor.

If Hulk only grunts in this I will build a voodoo doll of Mickey Mouse and stab the hell out of it.

Then again I thought Logan was going to be a big snooze fest and it's now my favorite superhero movie of all time lol.

Funy how things work out sometimes.

I agree that based on the stills it looks like yet more "Guardians of the Galaxy." This better get awesome reviews or it'll be another "Dr. Strange" that I skip on the big screen.

But didn't Doctor Strange get awesome reviews? Why'd you skip that?

MCU should've gone Ultimate Thor from the start, I don't like Ultimate Thor but the MCU was better suited for it, or at least change to BRB now.

Having BRB is the only thing that could make the MCU Thor franchise awesome "again" (I put it in quotations since it's never been awesome to begin with)
