I thought the same thing about "The Collector" the first time I saw him but in the end the character and it's design grew on me. I think Goldblum's will turn out the same way in the end. They are brothers after all.

I wonder if they will ever meet in future movies.

The problem with the flick is that they put more emphasis on the "trippy" part rather than the occult. I wasn't expecting pictures of Baphomet and Covens, but ya know, something more... "esoteric"or something. As it stands, it wasn't a magical movie, as it could've easily been a cosmic flick with a few changes here and there.

You dislike it for the reasons I liked it. Had it had that stuff in it zero chance I'd watch it.

And if you talk about source material, no idea. I knew nothing about the character going in so couldn't care less about source material. I just have less than zero interest in occultism.

Itll be interesting to see if they have time to include a scene between Strange and Wanda about the nature of her powers and if he considers it proper "magic."
If he could train her in addition to her own abilities she'd be a real powerhouse even more so than she is now.
