Not Thor related but Avengers related

:slap:slap:slap

"In the pilot, it’s revealed Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson), the ultimate super spy, faked Agent Coulson’s death on purpose to motivate The Avengers. Some S.H.I.E.L.D. members were in on it (including, possibly, Maria Hill played by Cobie Smulders) but The Avengers were not. Their security clearance wasn’t high enough. Coulson was forced to hold his breath as part of the ruse and that’s a point of contention among his colleagues After the fact, Fury moved him to a remote location until things died down, and then he was reinserted into duty at the time of the show."

Where did this come from btw?

I didn't see anything that hints at him dying. But he could..
Jane is a good bet. Thor will go the Dark side/world because he couldnt save both of them and become the Sith god of Thunder and Lightning. He'll gain the power to channel lightning through his finger tips.

So I went to quote this asking if it was related to Avengers 2 or what it was a spoiler for.... And I can see everything in it. That's dumb. I figured something like this would happen eventually. But it's dumb and undermines what came before it.

I saw Avengers again. I think I can overlook it retconning the ending of Thor if this sequel explains a bit more about how Thor got there and if these dark elves from a dark world are related to Odin's use of dark magic? I don't interpret that line as a reference to the sci-fi use of dark energy. It was a cheap throw away line. Or a hint of things to come :yess:

The way I see it is, he adjusted his priorities. He had concern for her, he checked up on her, which was that scene on the heli-carrier BAM done okay Thor can breath easy knowing she's safe. Now...his brother, who he thought dead, was suddenly alive and assaulting the earth BECAUSE OF THOR. Thor obviously still cared for Loki. In that instance, I would have made the choice Thor did. I would have put my focus on Loki as well and dealt with that particular "family issue".

Relationship with Loki who he's known for countless years > a girl he has known for a few months.

If you want to grasp at straws and say "yeah but what about the Shawarma scene?!" whatever...Call it a brief moment of respite where he needed "SUSTENANCE!" before he had to escort the war criminal - his own brother - off to prison.

Which is why i made a point of saying

but fair enough he's on a mission so he'll leave it until the mission is complete. The mission is completed and he blasts off back to Asgard without visiting Jane despite the fact that he should want to see her (ending of Thor)

Because after his family affair was over he still didn't continue his prime characteristic from the end of his movie.

So I guess that destroys the meaning of the whole Avengers film
:lol

Not meaning (movie didn't have one) but reason that they all stopped being d**ks and banded together.

They were manipulated by the government into banning together. There was a slight undertone about not trusting Fury and that he doesn't give full disclosure.

Thats what I'm addressing though. He didn't have the time. It was war. Now its done and judging from Thor 2 trailers, he's can finally focus on Jane....who might die now :lol

Was there something in the trailer that gives a hint that Odin dies? I didn't see anything but I fully expect Jane to die with Portman making such a stink about directors.

As far as coulson its a bit lame with him holding his great but I'm not shocked he isn't dead. That as was mentioned about not being able to trust fury.
