No offense von koz but its a whole designed figure from top to bottom, that price would be for a body with a new sculpt and clothes. I thought the price was high at first too but im totally fine with paying it seeing the engineering in it. Hot toys charges $230 as a standard now for their lowest tiered figures. Sideshows figures wont touch the quality and love they put into chappie.

Yeah, I think $230 is a fair price considering they've had to develop the whole body from scratch. I think the RoboCop figures were also the same price and I think this looks better than those.

I'm on the fence about Chappie, I like the design but I'm also waiting for more Titanfall and Game Of Thrones figures, perhaps watching the film can convince me to pull the trigger

id watch the movie, i never understood blindly buying a character when you have no emotional attachment to him/her/it.

The shipping is estimated to be during the 3rd quarter of this year.

I mostly get figures of characters I know too but I'm no stranger to "blindly" go for something I find really cool either, like threezero's Atlas, to this day I haven't played Titanfall and don't plan to anytime soon
Still Chappie is not the same case despite its great design. I'll watch the film to consider getting him, it just premiered this week in my country so there's that. Have a good one!
