Totally agree, hate watching boxes and padding out. This was a great video and straight to the point. The figure looks fantastic. So much nicer than the Stallone one. Funny saw a newish Dean Knight review toting the Stallone figure complaining of trolls and mentioned this site. Definitely going to pick this one up over the Stallone one.
You wont like my vid then😄just me rambling on for 20 minutes about plastic knives and figure fumes 😅
Stefan did a great job so will upload mine in a day or two after the smell of the figure has subsided and I can try swapping out a few bodies.
Do think overall straight from the box most people are gunna have a lot of fun with it.
The head sculpt tailoring and accessories are great. The body is useable. The boots are a step up from the hot toys moulded ones and have great articulation.
The knife is plastic thought it was supposed to be metal?🤔
Looks a lot better than the neca one slyshop showed anyway and has the compass too.
Comes with 3 sets of wrist pegs which is a small thing but welcome.
The head sculpt is imo pretty damn good, from certain angles again not perfect but alot better than the slyshop one imo.
I paid extra for mine as I slept in and didnt preorder. They might do a 2nd run like they did with rambo 3 so if you missed out or passed be patient as our late friend chung always said.

Works with the poncho, but he's way too big in the tanktop. The shoulders, biceps, neck, chest, the width of the body... really the whole physique looks like it's about to burst. That's not at all how he appears in the first film.

He's athletic, but far from swole.

Have to agree its too big up top and a body swap may not be possible as the pants are too tapered around the knee area for a jiaou and no way a tbl m33.

I think this will really benefit from a smaller body, aside from the physique differential, in a lot of these shots he looks like a bit of a pinhead on the stock body. Maybe it's his bouffant hairstyle in the movie? But I'll be really interested in seeing some different bodies being experimented with.

Agreed. I feel the head is way too small even for this hobby's aesthetics.

Its the body that makes it look that way.
Heres mine on the jiaou body.
Clothing/boots are hot toys, dam toys m60.
Will try the threezero clothing on the jiaou body later, might just fit into the jeans, the tank tops gunna be a bit baggy😄

That's a closer match in terms of general body mass, though. I buy that as '82 Stallone.

Thanks glad to help.
Been trying to get a perfect first blood figure for years picking up different heads and rifles. Finally am happy and think the set even without a body swap looks great with the poncho.
If people want another body that isnt seamless there are other cheaper options that will work just aswell.
Mines showing signs of wear at the elbow joint after being posed in the same positìon for so long holding the rifle but its not split.....yet🤞😄

Looks great - so what jiaou body have you used then?

I know there are some reservations about the figure's accuracy in terms of Stallone's physique in the first film, but I have to say Mr.E that that image from the back look's absolutely fantastic for a stock figure. Threezero have really excelled themselves on the Rambo line.

I've come across a few behind-the-scenes images from First Blood whereupon the stock body looks close to his build and passable. I'm looking forward to seeing what he's like in-hand and then deciding from there.
