I want to give credit where it is most justly due... They delivered in the head sculpt. The likeness is good and sculpt and paint are quite good. Not hot toys good but better than a lot of figures. Color me impressed and ultimately satisfied. I'm sure I'll tweak a few things. They missed the mole on his cheek for example.

I won't go into the hands again as we know they are an absolute joke but I'll share that they are casted in white which is both stupid and the reason in part why they look so goopy. The non relaxed left hand is the worst of the bunch it looks like it was sculpted in 10 mins but with stripping the paint refining the seam or awkward clumps by sanding and a nice subtle repaint I think I can get them to look passable.

Oh and speaking of hands, even in photos, Tyrion's while stubby and somewhat dark, don't look anywhere as laughable as Hot Toys stock hands look today on recent releases. Again with the Batman armory, the hands shippd for Bruce and Alfred are identical and all equally CRAP. Flat boney and pointy fingers, generic base-body grips/poses, paint doesn't match, etc.

And yes you're right I can't even stand the sight of any old stock hot toys hands. They were always oversized also.

One leg Up I'll give to sideshow is that their recent hands, obi wan, nathan drake etc are way better than hot toys.

I hate Hot Toy "relaxed" hands. I wish they would do away with them. Looking forward to your mods , Raymond. Whatever things I may disagree with you on, I respect your opinion and you usually bring it with the customs/modifications.

Yes i travel regularly to northern Virginia. Baltimore was only an hour away so i had the chance to go for the first time. Really enjoyed it but my ex gf spoiled the day. Never take a girl to a con!

Yeah that one in May was OK. Seemed like it wasn't as advertised as much as it should have been. November was much, much better.
