That's a whole second Tyrion figure. ;)
Yeah. :lol Besides, I dont think anyone really wants to take off that tunic just to mess around with some armor. :lol

On a side note, Ive noticed people have a horrible time with assembling figures with a lot of accessories and gear on this board. They would hate military figures. :lol

Ned's already received at least one revision, and the latest looks pretty good, IMO. We just need up to date images showing production pieces under decent lighting with good futzing - not another set of photos like those first boxed Tyrion shots that gave everyone a mild panic. ;)

Yeah, they gave Ned a repaint and he looks better, but I'm hoping for something a little more than that. Some tweaking of the base sculpt. Im not getting my hopes uo though and layed down my money going on the assumption that what I see in the official pics is what I'm getting.. At the very least I think the hands will look a little better for the very fact he's wearing gloves.

I cant wait to get my hands on Ned though. I see some weathering coming on, and certainly a water treatment for the cloak. Possibly a diorama too. :)

I know but I really don't want to buy two Tyrion figures [emoji14]
Thats essentially what you'd be buying. A new sculpt and armor with the axe. Thats a figure minus the body. You're better off buying the figure and selling off the original Tyrion if the armored version is your preference. Besides, I think its highly doubtful threezero would throw out an accessory pack. If they were to do so they'd be better off doing one for Ned. A pack with his King Landing tunic, Hand of the King badge and the book that started all this mess:
The Lineages and Histories of the Great Houses of the Seven Kingdoms.

Id buy an armored Tyrion, but I'm not all that horny for one like everyone else is. Id rather see a different figure altogether.

I know but I really don't want to buy two Tyrion figures :p

But the accessories as you put it are everything except the base body and responsible for the majority of the cost. The body cost will only go down as more units are produced, but all-new sculpts and outfits will not. So for the extra $5 to $8, they may as well include a new body and release an entire figure, because the final price to the customer would be the same regardless.

I'm willing to add some different hands to this kind of figure, maybe a hat, weapons and other external accessories, but there's no way I'm swapping the whole outfit and head.

There's already talk of a SECOND Tyrion? Could we get a Hound first? :lol I've pretty much abandoned any hope of a Mountain (please still make this happen, toy gods,), but I do want a Hound. Maybe a Joffrey to go with him.

Hound is a must! im surprised that he is not in the immediate line up of whats planned to come next. said it before but i imagine its a figure that would appeal to more than just GOT fans, same with white walker.

if anyone sees tyrion pop up at retail anywhere pls shout, the wait is gettin brutal and its only jan 3 :thud: :lol

the hound, joffrey, drogo are all a must for me... would give a nut for robert but it wont happen...

is there a 1/6 size throne about?

enjoying the world of fire and ice book at the moment, and per the amazing art got to thinkin how cool a book line would be. based on that art style and book descriptions. prolly better suited for a line like the funko legacy figs maybe.

a "roberts rebellion" line would be so great! also be a cool animated story, hell the entire back-story for the world of westeros would epic animated. dargonlords, valyria, white walkers on pale ice spiders... get on it HBO. easy money that i would think.

There's an unlicensed one around and one that Dark Horse (I think) did . I dont know how accurate the scale is , but they are promoted as 1/6.

They also put out a calendar every year based on book designs. The art is beautiful. If you want to back track and get previous years calendars be prepared to pay. They've skyrocketed in value. And I would LOVE a book series, movie, whatever, on Roberts Rebellion. It would have to wait till the regular show is over though. A 1/6 Robert and Rhaegar Targaryen are dream figures of mine.

HBO have already confirmed that the prequel will NOT be of Roberts rebellion.

Actually the Dark Horse stuff is licensed.

But yeah, the scale of that piece isn't 1/6. Regardless of what they say, it's smaller than that. I don't have one, but I've seen it in person and it looks closer to 1/8-ish.

He said "AND" - an unlicensed one AND the Dark Horse (aka Gentle Giant produced).

The unlicensed one has a measurement over 19" in its specs - seems too tall compared to the 1:1 measurements I've found online.

I'd love one from 3Zero so I can have something substantial instead of only a photo for the background.

19" is huge! How big do you think it should be in 1/6 scale? That unlicensed one looks great though, too bad no store offered it for pre order here in the Philippines.
