after that i hope a character that may inspire non-die hard GOT fig collecting fans into a purchase.

Iron Man isn't in Game of Thrones - and it's being produced in 1/6 exclusively by Hot Toys at the moment. ;)

GoT doesn't have a character that has any appeal outside of the show's fan base, and besides, high end 1/6 figure collecting is by all accounts a pretty hard-core audience kind of hobby through and through. I don't think it makes much difference which characters are produced - at least not the kind of difference that would make or break this series of figures.

I think GOT and Walking Dead will put Threezero on the map for 1:6 scale figures. Obviously both shows garnish so many viewers, that it's fan base enjoy having pieces of these shows at home. The Funko and McFarlane figures may quench some fans, but the die Garda will have these lines sales going through the roof. I hope these are on display at SDCC to further spread the word. They are officially lisenced figures!

With that said, after Stark, I see Jamie Lanister, The Hound, Jeofry Lanister, and Jon Snow being announced.

One can only hope Hodor will see a figure one day!;)

respectfully disagree. the hound would appeal to many that enjoy medieval bad-ass looking figures, hardcore GOT fan or not. ned, dany or tyrion, probably not. IMO

hope your right in that mass appeal sales wont impact the line, got Tyrion on PO and looking forward to more in the collect. tho unsure on if i need a ned or dany. snow would be a must as would the hound and a white walker.

I think you are over estimating the number of people on the planet prepared to spend upwards of a hundred and fifty bucks on a doll of a character they have no special connection with outside of generic 'bad assery'.

really? i dont think so. i find alot of collectors buy based on looks i.e. bad-assery rather than for love of that character. i am the opposite, the appearance could be boring or even silly but i if like the character i will buy.

and the more i think on it, yeah im prolly gonna get a ned dunno who im kidding in thinkin i wont. :lol
he will look epic with ice and was my fav in s1.

any ideas on what the exclusive order via threezero accessory could be for Ned or Dany?

There just seems to be a big downturn in the hobby of late. Fewer people are in stable jobs it seems, and the price of figures has risen sharply from two years ago. I'm a GoT fan, but even going beyond two or three figures would be a stretch for me. I think the best chance of ensuring the success of the line is not so much character selection as knockout figures. Or awesome accessories. Like an Iron Throne for Ned and a trio of season 4 dragons for Dany :)

I say the same thing when I see Boba Fett.

You know what I meant. :lol

I couldn't resist.

Tolkein is not well-respected among writers, critics, or academics for his writing. He is regarded as a creative and learned man, but whose writing is very prosaic.

I've always considered him a poor fiction writer, but an excellent narrator of imaginary history.

Star Puffs said:
The Wicked series, Oryx & Crake, and Jonathan Strange & Mr. Norell are the only really high literature fantasy or science fiction that jump out at me.

I'm probably letting my philistinism show, but Heinlein was a master. He's no Victor Hugo, but he's probably the next best thing.

Ned could have the wolf pelt sheath for Ice (seen briefly when he executed the Night's Watch deserter in the pilot and again when Tywin throws it into the fire at the start of Season 4).

Daeny could include the whip which symbolized her ownership of the Unsullied before she threw it in the dirt. She has a three headed dragon crown in the books, but it hasn't appeared in the series. I'm not sure if their license extends beyond the TV or not. If it does, I'd like to see a alternate portrait with silver hair and violet eyes.

Dragon eggs would really only make sense if they chose to make a Season 1 version of Daeny (wedding dress or Dothraki clothes), in which case it would be a "must have" for many. So far, threezeros exclusives have been kind of cool but not essential extras (severed arms for Michonne's pets and a dagger belt for Tyrion).

If something is an essential then it's not really "extra" and it shouldn't be exclusive only. ;) just sayin.

So we are at:
Box of Eggs
Sullied Leader Whip
Drago Sword???
Cup of poisoned wine and Barrell
A second dragon, If Threezero chooses to include one.

I think the dragons are essential to dany, otherwise it's just a bird in a dress :dunno

Definitely doesn't want to be an extra
