I don't see how anyone could think Daenerys isn't visually appealing on her own. Fantastic wardrobe + trademark Targaryen silver hair. I'd buy a figure of her if it came with no dragons or eggs (though it definitely SHOULD come with dragons or eggs).

The blue dress-thingy she wore in S3 is my favorite of her wardrobe so far.

Luv it

I definitely prefer post-Season One Daenerys. That scene would be perfect.

I'm more concerned about getting Daeny's hair right than whether she comes with a box of eggs. Jayrod has it right I think, a whip would be a better accessory given the version folks will want.

It most worrisome because 3Z has no experience with doll hair. By the time The Avengers version of Black Widow got made, HT had had its learning curve and seemed to do an excellent job.

Fortunately not an issue with Arya or Brienne, who hopefully are the other female characters most likely to get made. If I did a custom of Ygritte or Cersei, I would go for a premium doll wig.

I think this outfit would be perfect. And I would prefer sculpted hair for her, I think 'real' hair would be a nightmare for her particular hairstyle.

indeed blue is her ''chosen'' color
she must be dressed in blue

oh how I wish someone would do Ygritte

Well we all see different scales already. The giants weren't 'that' big.
I think a 1/6 giant figure would be about the size of a 1/4 premium format statue (or say Enterbay's 1/4 figures)

The cost would be pretty insane though. Would you pay $500 for a Game of the Thrones 1/6 giant that only appears in a few scenes?

I'm not so sure ...

If that dude next to him is full-sized ... let's say six feet tall ... then the giant is more than twice his height (and he's crouching). So my guess would be 15 feet easy. Which would make a 1/6 scale figure about two and a half feet tall. :horror (Typical 1/4 figures and statues (minus bases) clock in around 18 inches.)

It doesn't actually matter of course, because we're never in a million years going to get a 1/6 giant figure from ThreeZero, but it's always fun to daydream! :peace

And yes, I would pay $500 for one! Because I have a problem. :lol

I will eventually do Arya, Ygritte, Brienne, Sansa, and Cersei (if ThreeZero never makes it past Daenerys). I already have like six female custom heads from various things in the pipe line, just not Game of Thrones yet, so just give me time.

Also that blue dress looks to be pretty straight-forward to tailor.

Anyone know when Tyrion is supposed to ship?

Last I saw it was scheduled for December.

Ned's death was a legitimately shocking moment for me. I remember actually saying "Wait, WHAT?" when I read it. He was, arguably, the lead character of the first book that I thought would be a lasting point-of-view to the reader of an outsider to King's Landing. Definitely grabbed my attention and solidified the "anything can happen" nature of the books. That being said, I want a headless version for my display.

same!
was the moment that really hooked me on the show, the no-one is safe aspect. up til then was convinced he was main character :p tho have no interest in headless ver for display, lol but can see the appeal.

I'm not a hair snob - whatever looks good, rooted or sculpted, I'm happy. I do think that a great rooted hair job would be better than a sculpted piece in Daeny's case - I can see sculpted hair not allowing any head movement. But as you say, 3Z hasn't got the experience to confidently tackle rooted hair. Fingers crossed, I guess.
