Each and Every one! The way I see it... you can always commission rooted hair later.

annd onto topic! I am extremely excited for this figure... it may even be the only GOT character I get.

What's the fun in that? You gotta have someone to pick on Tyrion. Jeofry, Jamie, Hound... Hodor!!!

IMO, this season was a complete waste of time for the Daenerys storyline. Next to the usually weakest storyline, that of Stannis Baratheon, this one was a close #2 this season. For all the exposition in that storyline, they could have reduced the scene to fit into two or three episodes. It would have at the very least, allowed more screen time for some of the other more interesting story lines. But I generally like the Dany line, so what I would have hoped for was in fact more meaningful content packed into the time they spent on her.

As the show diverges dramatically from the books, it's not fair to blame any issues on the source material either - they're free to pepper up story lines any way they'd like. And as predicted in the first episode, the replacement of the actor for Daario Naharis was a total letdown in every scene thereafter. I liked the season, and still love the show (my #1), but other than a few notable exceptions, it may have been the weakest one for me so far.

Out of curiosity, have you read the books pixel? They are in a corner with Danaerys and Bran, having moved those stories along much more quickly than the others because they are important to the story overall and Dany is so popular and well... dragons... but they are reaching the point where they have to just start making crap up for them, while there is a season or two worth or material in the books left for the rest of the characters. They had to slow down Dany's storyline so as to not outpace it, so they started making **** up. While peppering up storylines is fine in theory, the interest in the show comes directly from the contents of the books, so when they start adding things that aren't in the books, it tends to pale in comparison.

I think they did themselves a big disservice also with the Theon story, jumping his ahead instead of shifting gears towads his sister and uncles like the book does. Perhaps that stuff will end up in next season, along with the characters in Dorne.

I do also find that storyline out of place. I've never read the books, but every now and then I'll go look at the wiki to find out about a particular character in terms of book plot development, which is how I know that the show has deviated significantly all along. They hit the key moments, but differ in the details, which may include setting, different or omitted characters, scene order, etc. IMO, it generally works very well and anyone who has not read the books (maybe 95%+ of the audience) probably finds it fits together well enough.

It's difficult to adapt anything into a movie or TV, so I can imagine the great difficulty when it comes to such a richly developed source, especially one with so many different story lines.

I'm fine with it...I think we'll see a lot more of the Iron islands next season....

My big problem with the show is the glacial pace at which it moves. Hard to avoid as there are so many storylines to service, which is why I would have simply cut out, for example, Bran and his story. I haven't read the books ("obviously", fans of the books are probably thinking) but the Bran story has never been interesting and the actor is growing up so quickly that there's no way to maintain believability. If Bran had simply died in that fall in season one we could have skipped all of his tedious two-season long journey to meet up with the man in the tree who spouts trite Gandalf lines at him in favor of more interesting subplots. Also, I really wish they had cast someone else as John Snow--the one casting fail of the show imo.

My favorite characters are Danaerys and Tyrion, both are guaranteed buys as long as the sculpts hold up. I would also be in for Arya, the Hound, and Cersei.

I haven't read the books either, but just from watching the show, it's kind of obvious that the Bran storyline is very important.

From all I've heard, the show is much faster paced and a lot more compressed than the books, so if you're not a fan of glacial pacing, never pick up the books. From a big fan of the books, I've also heard that at least one of the volumes is "mind-numbingly boring" and that the show producers would have to combine two volumes to make a single season.

Book 4 drags on way too long. That would be the mind-numbingly boring one. But there is still plenty of stuff that will be good for the show, it was just spaced horribly and the exclusion of Jon Snow, Bran, Tyrion and Danaerys completely sucked.

I imagine next season will be book 4 and parts of book 5. Season 1 was all book 1. Seasons 2 was book 2. Season 3 was the first half of book 3. This last season, season 4 was the second half of book 3 and parts of book 5 where Bran and Danaerys are concerned. Regardless, the show will completely outpace the books either by the end of next season or the start of season 6.

Bran dying in the first episode??? LOL.

For the most part but the show really only tells half the story. the show leaves so much out but that's excepted with any adaptation.,

Looks like the pre-order window for Tyrion at the official Threezero online store is ending soon. Found this posted on their Facebook page:

Shortly we will end pre-oder for HBO Game of Thrones Tyrion Lannister, so if you are planning to purchase one at our official online store please do it till June 25th 9:00AM Hong Kong time. Still no official picture of the exclusive accessory yet... as well as NO teaser pics of their next offering. Where's Ned?

Agreed about the Iron Islands stuff. I don't think they've done them any justice.

Oh, and Stannis from the book is waaay better. I know everyone takes Stannis all serious but he actually makes me laugh in the book. Like when he found out about the death of Robb Stark at the Twins, his crazy ass wife was all, " Its the hand of R'hllor!!!" and Stannis says back " Is the hand of R'hllor spotted and palsied? This sounds more like Walder Freys handiwork than any gods." :lol

Yeah they make Stannis out to be a bit more into the religiousness of the fire god than he is in the books. In the books he doesn't really give a rat's ass about any religion, but Melisande gets results and so he's good with it.
