I love her. I just think she needs a slight nose job. It's too pointed. Other than that, this piece has my heart.

I don't think there are any real "haters", just those who were disappointed and hoped for something closer to the genuine article. I have no doubt that Buffy fans (me included) were ready to line up for this one. It simply feels like a let down for some of us.

Thankfully, Buffy has been immortalized in the psyche of fans worldwide. Hopefully, SS will produce something closer to the real deal the next time around, perhaps something from Season 4.

Have it in hand, then see how you feel. If you don't like her, then you know what, she'll sell for more than you paid in a few months. But I think you'll open her up and be IN LOVE.

That's what I'm hoping for. I still feel like the pics look closer to Uma the Vampire Slayer, but I may feel differently once I have it in hand. It could all be shadow and bad paint apps that are throwing me right now.

No matter what, the pose definitely does it for me... I mean... you know, totally from an admirer of art standpoint of course...

I fully expected this to be a love or hate piece. It's far different from anything produced and doesn't really have any connection with any of the episodes. I can say I'm not wild about the face sculpt and the giant ****s, can't we just have normal perky ****s?

And like I said before SMG is in that sculpt but it's just not dead on, if that completely awesome throne didn't come with this I might have skipped it based on the figure sculpt.

This reminds me of when the Hot Toys version 1 Joker was previewed. There were so many people talking about how awesome the sculpt was and how much it looked like Heath. I don't think anyone would agree that it looks like Heath at all today.

This is a nice piece, I ordered one but it doesn't look like SMG. Looks more like a blonde Katie Holmes.

That is all relative. The first one looks like Heath, then they came out with v2 and v3 heads which were better.

I was joking with the "sugar coating" your opinion comment. I actually agree with most of your crticisms and I still think the 1/6 sculpt is the best SMG I've seen.

Got in my order for the exclusive last night just in time. At first I thought I may cancel this, but the more I look.....the more I love. It's not the best face sculpt, but it works for me. May have finally found my Buffy centerpiece. Eager to see Faith and Willow.

Nice comparison pics Dave thanks. Just my opinion, Sarah's face is a bit wider, the eyes a bit more almond shape sitting higher up on the eyelid, and of course that nose; Sarah is a tad slimmer and has that cute little drop right at the tip.

I know blonde hair is really hard to capture in the paint application so I don't have too many complaints about that. The only thing I pray is that this doesn't turn into that 12" Willow we got that was so completely different from the prototype I was literally sick with disappointment.
