No, I have to throw the "serious" element in there once in a blue moon. I never mean it, but I try to come off as serious.....and it never works!!! So now I just act serious.

Darn it. I loathed the preview photos and was wondering if the final shots would sway me. They've actually pushed me even further away. It's tacky, she looks f-ugly and to me it screams NOTHING to do with Buffy to me. She looks bored, as though she's waiting for someone to bring her a cocktail.

BUT I appreciate Sue and I are in our corner whilst the rest of you have a party. I'm glad SSC are trying something new but wish they'd tried the 12" again instead.

Yup. Although obviously season 1 and 2 are a big influence for the piece (at least that's what I concluded when I first saw the completed piece), it is a more artistic approach to the slayer. From my understanding the line is not necessarily supposed to be a tie into a specific scene, season, etc. of Buffy.

In the promo vid, I think they talked about portaying the early seasons of Buffy, the beginnings of the characters. Which I thought sounded great. So what the fudge is the schyte doing there?
