Hold on...

I forgot the bottom:

It would be completly pointless for me to purchase this PF. Why would I want 3 bonds in their tuxes and then and identical Sean Connery in a different suit.

Actually.... I could buy this PF, switch the bases and then I could have a base that matches my Peirce and Roger (with the oval nameplates instead of the rectangle).

I could then give the new Sean the old base and sell it on ebay....

I know it is sick but that actually sounds good to me...

WHY OH WHY would sideshow give us a repeat when we so badly want Daniel, George, and Timmothy?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

Are you joking Tom? I didn't see that anywhere...

I'm really disappointed in this. I have been thinking about cutting the Bond PF's as well as the Star Wars and Marvels, and I think this may have helped me make a decision. I will wait and see the final product before I judge completely, but I really didn't expect to see something like this. But after the Spider-Man variants, maybe this isn't so surprising after all...

...you know, this may actually look better than the original. I'm so confused now! :google

Couldn't agree more. Was very disappointed when I saw the preview pic. Doesn't even appear that they fixed the "floating hand" problem.

Made me really glad I sold my 1st Connery PF this week.

Is this going to be the same sculpt as the previous Connery Bond, just with different clothes?? The pose looks the same...

I really don't think I like this trend with the PF if it is the same sculpt!

tell me about it.i guess the EU stock will be arriving in the US soon.i wish they would of just offered EU stock to the US customers before changing the suit.

I had been thinking of selling both my Bond PF figures to clear more room, but I may have waited too long. This announcement could bring the price of the Connery down, and it wasn't much more than retail already. I don't mind taking a slight lose when I sell stuff, but if I have to give it away, I would rather just keep it.

Then again, I am liking the looks of this one more and more; if I can move some more Marvel and Star Wars items, I may keep the Bond line and get this one as well! Decisions, decisions...

it is a nice suit,i might pick it up if the price is reasonable.i think this suit is actually nicer than the tux.

I'm gonna have to stop reading this thread, ya'll are startin' to make me want one. If only I could reconcile having two tuxes and a suit... Well that and buying three Bond PFs in the same year along with any SW and lord knows what else that will come out.

Hmmm, so I'm guessing it's all about the outfits on PF figures, more so than the sculpt? Why would you want to pay $250 for just a suit?...given the sculpt is pretty much the same as the tuxedo'd version?

I know what you mean Lonnie. This is why I haven't sold any of my Kong and Narnia stuff.

I just picked up the Kong Chess Set for $75 last week!!!!!!!!!

I have loved this peice from the moment I saw it but I could not afford or justify buying a $300 chess set. But $75... I couldn't afford NOT to buy it.
