I think Golf is a great sport, i atleast try and play a full 18 holes 10 times a year or so, though i always hit the driving range first to smack some balls and adjust my drive.Most courses here allow you to drink on the greens while playing which is nice and fun to take the wife or girlfriend after a few lessons that is, its hardly a "gay" sport.I also admire how well kept some of the greens are at select clubs,really takes quite a bit of effort to maintain the greens.

If anyone think golf is easy, they've probably never played. I tried to do it a few times. I get too frustrated because the damn ball never goes where I want. And I'm definitely sore the next day; swinging a club off the tee takes more muscles that you probably didn't even know you had. But it is fun to attempt 18 holes with a case of beer and a few friends.

Still, as a sport, pretty boring. If I want to take a nap, I'll put golf on and fall asleep to it, very soothing.

Well, thats your problem right there lol!!, never try to kill the ball or you will put it in the drink or be searching for your ball in the forest lol!.I try not to have such a tight grip on the driver,i also interlock my left pinky finger with my right index finger for my grip and sometimes i turn my club face slightly inwards to compensate from slicing the ball at times. Always keep your eyes on the back of the ball when teeing off and never take your eyes off it until your swing is complete, and also proper stance and swing is important,its a hard sport and takes lots of practice and finesse.

my limit is 9 holes then i become very bored or drunk. golf is a sport that i could've taken up according to my friends as i'm usually only a few strokes behind them when i do put my mind behind it. just it's not a sport i was ever interested in so meh to golf, for me anyways.
