Yes indeed. He likes his trophies a LOT. That is why he hasn't just left her. The white blond woman makes him look more successful, he believes.
He wont lose any of his big ones. Any he loses a competing company will jump at the chance to sign him. He is by far the best golfer and also one of the most popular athletes on the planet if he isnt the most popular.

i really couldn't care less, but it's just so interesting to see people who have it ALL, and to see how them people can still completely screw up and think they can get away with it.

On his recent tour to Australia, he was unavoidable on the news, where he stated his high regard for his 'role model' status.
It's not a personal tragedy, for him, it's a circumstance of his own making. It's not a misstep, but rather a two step with turnaround and moonwalk off stage. Morbidity? Who died? People are interested because they don't like being deceived, and want to know that bad behaviour isn't rewarded. He made a good public relations move, in the first instance, by seeking councilling. People would have readily forgiven him. Whomever he is hiring is doing a lousy job.
Money for nothing and chicks for, a few dollars more.

Simple. He's very competitive, and he likes winning. He likes winning trophies. He likes having things that symbolize his success. Many people believe that we live in a white dominated culture, and so the fact is that to many black men, marrying a white, blond woman represents success. That isn't just my opinion, its a pretty prevalent one. That aside, assuming that race wasn't an issue, which I doubt, the fact is that he married a beautiful woman, who he cheated on. The fact that he cheated on her proves that he doesn't love her, and that therefore, he didn't marry for love. She wasn't rich, so he didn't marry her for money, either. He married her for her looks, as a trophy wife. It wouldn't be reasonable for him to marry her just for sex. There are more compatible women than her I'm sure, for him to have kids with. So that leaves a trophy. He married her to represent his material success. Does that make any sense?
