First thing that shocked me was how thin the base is. I imagined it being much thicker.

It almost looks all plastic instead of a resin.

Yeah, it's hard to tell. The way they were handling it as they took it out makes it seem like it's fragile like resin and the way he needed the other guys help. On the other hand, he picked it up and handled it like it was a plastic figure and when he was placing the grunts down and toggling the switch, it sounded like plastic as well.

Pretty sure this will be made like every other video game statue I've seen. Cheap, light weight, hollow plastic. It looks cool though. I've decided to pass on the game. I think I'm finally getting fps'd out.

Thanks for the link, that's a pretty cool site.

That being said, I'm on the fence whether I'm going to keep my order for the collector's edition. The beta was fun but I'm not sure I'll play it all that much. In the end it's still a Multiplayer FPS and I don't really spend a lot of time with that.

Why not compromise and get the standard version? I have a lot of faith that this game will be fun -

I was thinking about it and that's probably what I'll do but basically, it's not the game, it's me. The more I though about it, the more I came to the realization that I didn't really spend a lot of time on Halo MP and that's a game I like. I don't do COD or Battlefront which are the other main MP FPS games so although Titanfall is definitely cool, would I really spend a lot of time with it?

Couldn't you just keep the preorder and then sell the statue? I'm sure you could make a nice profit off of it. I know that's what I've seen a lot of people do. I was tempted to do that with my bio shock nicer edition with the murder of crows keychain. They were selling for $20 at one point.

Hmm...the Collector's edition is sold out on amazon so I'm curious if that's just amazon's allocation, or if this is actually going to be "limited."

I thought about it but I'm not sure it's worth the time and effort for a few bucks. I don't really want to hold on to something I don't really want since the market will probably be flooded with people tying to do just that next week.
