Level design and overall art design is top notch. I really hope there's something besides multiplayer arena play.

One thing I'd like to see worked on is the lack of destroyable environments. This is a problem with BF4 as well. A 30 foot tall robot should be able to blow the crap out of a building. I shouldn't be able to run for cover inside any old house.

I dont think they can offer destructible environments atleast with these maps. They would have to go back to the game engine and tweak it. I dont think an update could change that. Maybe future map packs but I doubt it.
I like the game as is.

I think if they were to consider destructible environments, they wouldn't do it until the sequel. They'd have to redesign the engine to be able to do it. That being said, I'm not sure I can see them adding it. They make a good point where if you make it where you can destroy buildings, you're essentially removing the jumpjet/free running aspect out of the game.

They wouldn't have to redesign the engine, but it would mean messing with a lot of assets, and destructible environments would probably require different level designs as well, just from a perspective of gameplay.

Second - where can I find a Collectors edition??? ugh no where to be found to pre-order, I wait wayyyyyy to long; but for the longest time I couldn't decide if I wanted PC or One, now after the beta came out I got to play both and I can't find a PC CE anywhere now,

any ideas where to find one? thanks

I don't think there will be until future DLC. I think if there was we would have heard about them by now.

Id be happy if they do it as dlc. I think that will really add to the longevity of the game.

Yep, the old "we'll fix it later" or the "we could possibly add it later" lines seem to be the norm these days.

I'm still keen to get this as is though. I don't consider any promises of future add-ons into the decision.

I have been trying to order in the UK but Game have sold out of all versions.
Watching the video I am not sure its a must buy looks a bit flimsy.

First thing that shocked me was how thin the base is. I imagined it being much thicker.

It almost looks all plastic instead of a resin.
