I just ordered all 4 crates because I really want that Scrag, Danny and probably Dark Donatello. I'll just sell the other crates since
I have no interest in the Arcade or Mirage sublines.

I think if you like the original movie the Danny figure is absolutely a no brainer. Pretty much guaranteed that he won?t be made again.

With Danny being made I wonder if Tatsu could be possible as a Loot Crate exclusive at some point. I mean I don?t see why not with all the other main and side characters being made. I?m sure it helped Danny?s cause that NECA was able to re-use the young John Connor figure as a base.

Lol I love the 90s movie. I consider it a masterpiece but I wouldn?t buy a Danny figure. He?s just some kid who barely does anything the entire movie. He listens to splinter and that?s about it. Not knocking anyone who wants him but I?d rather have yellow coat April o Neil

You betcha. Well....if NECA would give a fresh indication that the Terminator line is still alive I would actually be encouraged by the existence of this TMNT Danny figure but there's been no recent Terminator mention on twitter that I saw and no actual product since the John/Sarah 2 pack - although that was fairly recent. Just in general though I'm getting the impression they're phasing out Terminator - with no T1 Sarah having been done

I mean I guess it’s up to you guys if you want it or not. This forum is dedicated to collectibles including some of the most minute characters and things. I really don’t see the figure being available outside of Loot Crate personally. It’s crazy that he’s being made at all, and minor character or not he’s still featured pretty prominently throughout the film and has multiple scenes. I’m not overly thrilled about it being in Loot Crate either, but if that’s how we have to get some of these more minor characters I’ll bite.

April is in the works I believe. I would bet that she gets released in a two pack either with Casey or one of the Turtles.

Apparently NECA is teasing an origin of Splinter set with Splinter’s master (Hamato Yoshi) and Oroku Saki (Shredder). They’re really going deep into the film for figures.

Do the NECA crates ever work with coupons? I found a ton of Loot Crate codes online, but even the valid ones don't take anything off the total.

I also passed on Spirit of Splinter, mainly because he was a variant. I only slightly regret it, but certainly not enough to pay scalper prices. My display would be fine without a Danny figure, but I'll probably get this since he's a unique character. Can Keno be far behind?

No coupons or any other promo codes don't work with the crates, just gotta pay in full no matter what.

I see zero way in which this figure gets re-released, so just go for the one crate. Since he's not the bonus figure, you can just get the one movie crate and be done with it.

Loot Crate can be a subscription, but you can also just get boxes as you want them.

Thanks for the heads up. I preordered the movie crate. I couldnt pass up on Danny.

Thats a shame. I was hoping for a Tatsu.

Probably why he would jump at the chance for some quick cash. From what is sounds like, Tatsu hasn’t said no, but just hasn’t been responding to them. Might be one of those things someone who knows him might need to track him down and get his attention. I know Casey wasn’t on board at first because he didn’t get it, but now he’s on board and an unmasked head is coming. April too, so I’m half expecting the pizza delivery guy to get on board soon

I wouldnt say he was completely useless. He helped drive the story a bit. I would definitely take Keno over Danny any day though.

I see. Hopefully someone can reach out and get him to respond at least. Tatsu would be great if NECA is going this deep into making figures.

I fully expect Ernie Reyes Jr.’s character to be made at some point, and like you mentioned a Vanilla Ice. That would really cover all the bases for the first two films unless they made the scientist character from The Secret of the Ooze.

I wonder if when the first two films dry up if NECA will do third film as well. I would think so given that they did the Out of Their Shells concert Turtles figures.

Drive the story? By stealing money from April and hiding in the lair with the penicillin pizza. The stupid little boy from Power Rangers the movie did more in that film to flow ithe story than Danny ever did in TMNT and that boy from the PR movie was annoying

Well he did snitch on the Turtles whereabouts to Shredder and the Foot prompting the apartment confrontation.
And he inadvertently triggered the final assault when Shredder discovered April's picture in his pocket. So yeah
he was used to drive the plot along.
