Marion is a must, then Mola Ram, then I'd still want Henry Sr., I'd also like a Willie in the Red Dress from Club Obi-Wan, and Shortround, and even a Grail Knight but that's a hopeful list.

Something that occured to me, the Melty Toht head will make a great custom addition to "The Dead" line.

Her screaming throughout the duration of the pic really, really got on my nerves. I understand the whole damsel in distress deal, but all she did was whine and scream. That's one of the reasons TOD rates 3rd in my book but nearly tied with KOTCS (which I rated 4th). If we're forced to buy her in a 2-pack, Mine'll likely wind up a BB magnet at Airsoft Recondo School.

Her screaming throughout the duration of the pic really, really got on my nerves. I understand the whole damsel in distress deal, but all she did was whine and scream. Short Round used to annoy me the most, but after recently watching all these again, she takes the cake. I doubt I'd be up for buying either one of them if they got made.

Just caught up reading several pages and some excellent ideas and points shared.

This is another line with so much potential that I really hope it doesn't die (correction- get put "on hold") before it's time.

I would prefer Marion in her Tibet bar outfit as well but I can see where having her in her red and white Cairo outfit would be just as cool, with the exclusive being the big basket and perhaps the monkey.

Sallah was always one of my favorite characters and it would be a shame not to get him. But I honestly don't see him being done. What would he come with? Bad dates?

Senior Dr. Jones (Connery) is a must-do but I don't know if the line will have the legs to get to his release.

Shorty would be fantastic, but like Senior Dr. Jones, will the line last until his at-bat?

Mola Ram would be fantastic and would spur another round of Indy purchases. I can see this one being bumped up simply for that reason.

Hilarious point regarding Gimli & Sallah, thenammagazine!

EDIT: I can definitely see the map room floor slab being done. I think it would be easy to do in polystone and would spur still another round of Indy figure purchases. It's an environment waiting to be done.

We also could use an accessory set of "snakes"! Give us the king cobra and a wide assortment of snakes to display with indy. Include a couple of torches and one of Marion's white shoes and we're good to go!

I definitely see Mola ram as being a perfect addition to the line.. lots of accessory potential ( sankara stone/s, skull chalice, flaming heart ) I'd give anything for this line to get the same treatment Bond did.. but I just don't see sideshow really giving anything outside of Star Wars that much attention... in the end we HAVE to at least get a Marion.. ( I too am undecided between Nepal or Cairo Marion )

She doesn't bother me so much in the film, but she's one of those character where I can enjoy what's brought to the film with their presence but not give a ^^^^ about having in my collection. She helped make the movie work, but by herself she ^^^^s. You need an annoying woman like her to make the whole chamber scene work, time running out and Indy having to fight to get her to pull the lever is a great part of that movie.

My only issue with Shorty is the height of the hobbit body is too much, it sort of worked out ok with the Hobbits because their height isn't based on age, but shorty on that body next to Indy will look like he could be a teenager.

Fly-I'd be shocked if we don't get Sallah. He was in half the Indy films made and is in them quite a bit. He's a pretty important character really.

There's no reason not to make Gimli either. He was a major character in all 3 films. If they can make Faramir there is no reason not to make Gimli.

Initially I'd say Raiders... but if they did a LC version it would not be too difficult to buy two and do a custom Raiders version ( simple outfit as opposed to trying to replicate Sallah's crazy tie in 1/6).... anyhoo.. that's just me being a toy nerd and thinking outloud...

Good question, Mike. My initial reply would be Raiders as well, as it's my favorite film (by far) of the entire series and that's the version I would prefer. But if getting LC version would allow one to make either/or, then I'm with you.
