How is it that LSB's are even an option if there is a 1:1 equivalent? Just curious.

It's kinda like comparing a Hot Toys 12" (LSB) to a Premium Format (1:1). (No comparison...)

I'm guessing it's probably due to favoritism of owning an LSB, and not being able to afford the 1:1.
