I don't know what to tell ya then. I like the original I just think this one is a bit better. Neither of them are great or anything other than a fun way to kill a couple hours.

I'll let to know what I think when eventually see it. I'm sure it will Be a change from talking to trolls who have no interest in seeing it and just flood threads with nonsense. You wouldn't mind reading it if they had actually seen the movie.

Yeah I think we have similar tastes in movies. I don't think it's out until 29th here. So I'll have seen Bourne Legacy and Expendibles 2 beforehand.

Yeah I think we have similar tastes in movies. I don't think it's out until 29th here. So I'll have seen Bourne Legacy and Expendibles 2 beforehand.

Damn that's a bit of a wait from here. I'll wait for blu on BL but will see the expendable 2 when it comes out. Should be more cheese action fun.

Similarities sure. It wouldn't be total recall if it didn't have some but it's not the same movie. I'd know since I just saw it yesterday. As I said they made a better version this time around. The first one is fun but it's not quiet as good as this one.

I have a few problems with things in the lotr series but as a whole that was nearly perfect.

I just got home from it. Pretty fun movie. This movie had a Jason Bourne vibe to me and that's a good thing. The special effects were insane.

Well I'm seeing this tomorrow. My dad was interested and I rarely see movies with him anymore, so why not. It was either this or seeing TDKR for a third time.

It's been a while since I've seen the original Total Recall, but I'm not going to watch it again before seeing this new one because I want to judge it on it's own merits, without bringing nostalgia into the mix. Well, I don't really have any fond memories of the original.

I watched the original recently and it really doesn't hold up. Arnie just doesn't have the acting chops to portray someone that should be so conflicted. Farrell does have the skills, but the remake doesn't really allow him to get a breath. It's so non-stop action that there's really no time to get invested in the characters or story.

Actually the only one that really stands out is Kate B. - they gave her a lot more to do in this one than Sharon Stone had in the original and she's great in it.

I did enjoy the look of it - it's a visual marvel and I'm sure Sony execs are going to be crying about how much money they spent on the budget.

I've watched it a couple times over the past couple weeks. I agree that the original is still an awesome 80s-ish movie, but it really doesn't hold up at all. Everything in the movie just screams cheese, but I do love the extreme violence in it.

I agreed with my wife when she said that Kate and Jessica are way hotter than Sharon and the other Melina from the original.

Good action movie, loved all the locations and tech, they were pretty creative in their designs. If you see it you'll enjoy it.

Way better than the original too.
